Watching a few pre-season games and stopped since it was just sloppy 2nd stringers. In the Lakers/Nets game, LeBron didn't play, KD didn't play, and Harden didn't play.
Curry and Lillard will both be playing and should be seeing reasonable minutes. Going to be fun to watch tonight GSW vs. Portland.

I don't think Westbrook played either. Kinda lame.

I can't recall if this is a new thing or has always been this way; to give star players 0 minutes in the pre-season.

Draymond an absolute goof; terrible passes at the feet of teammates. He's lucky receivers are corraling it- he could have four turnovers by now (early Q1).

Warriors too small. They didn't do a good job of getting a tough big man in the offseason (and Wiseman injured).

Warriors 2nd unit looks atrocious; on offense, no one moving, no one setting screens. This is losing basketball.

Nurkic being a dirty player as usual; with the football play on Green.

I swear, if some star player gets injured in these pre-seasons, I am going to be a little upset.

Lillard is spanking Curry's ass all night. Good god. Curry exposed. Without Klay he is nowhere near the player Lillard is.
Poole carrying stephen curry to a tie-game in the first half.

It seems stephen curry is not confident enough to go all-out yet without his fellow splash bro.

Nurkic with a number of moving screens (not called).

Too much 3 pt shooting by Warriors; 49 of 70 shots are 3 point shots. They will need to do more than drain 3's to beat the best teams. When they were the #1 team, they had the most points in the paint in the league. A lot of people don't remember that. They need more ball and player movement to complement the 3 point bombs.
Poole leading stephen curry by slightly twice more his score.

Curry a bit off with the airball.

While it's not great to see Zeller get an elbow to the face, the play before, he literally threw a Warrior to the ground (not a basketball play) and threw his shoulder and arm into a Warrior on a supposed screen. More than once I've see players like this get instant karma.

Warriors key rookies so far:
Moody: 0-0 (5 minutes)
Kuminga: 1-5

You saw with Moody on that 3 point shot; WAY too long to gather and shoot. AS a result it was contested and way off. He's going to have to quicken the release. He has a few guys around him he can learn that from.

Excellent D by Curry. He never takes a play off.
I do like what I'm seeing with Curry driving the offense and moving the ball every which way. It reminds me of how the Warriors used to play pre-Durant. So long as people can play well off him when he does that; it's good news. Mulder, Wiggins and Draymond can. The new guys need to get with the program. They'll win as a team not with highlight reel ISO.

Difference in game was Turnovers: Portland 26, GSW 12.

Warriors almost broke the rs record for 3s attempted lol. Just playing Poole instead of oubre will help and they have veteran shooters off the bench in porter and bjelica.

Mulder is garbage man, stop it. The only time that fraud should be getting any minutes is garbage time, if he makes the team. Warriors will have more shooters this season, not as many 1v3s from the Chef. Poole I imagine will be a lot better and from the beginning instead of the last 1/3rd of the season, Bjelica, OPJ, and Klay coming back to space the floor.

Mulder has this tendency to disappear when it matters but then start drilling threes when the game has already been lost. Still there's potential there. He has the shot, the thing is can he make them when it counts? Could be he just isn't mentally tough enough but on the other hand maybe he just hasn't had the experience. I'm leaning towards there being too much potential there to give up on.
If the Warriors develop a dependable shooting gallery with Steph, Klay, Poole, Porter, Bjelica, Lee, Mulder, and Wiggins—this is going to be a very fun season for Warriors fans!
