the "decision" to form a super-team in a conference that 1-star teams were winning (iverson, kidd, dwight)

the 00's East is the only conference in history that was won by multiple 1-star teams (5 times), yet that's the conference that Lebron formed super-teams in - so Dwight and Kidd were winning the conference without super-teams, but Lebron should get credit for winning it with them?
