LeBron pre-ankle injury was a top 10 player last season. I still see best-in-the-league or top 5 talk for him though and it's confusing. It certainly isn't based on anything that happened last season. And he'll be a year older this season. I think people are just scared to count him out until they actually see it happen. But they really shouldn't be. Nothing in NBA history suggests a 37 year old is a threat to be top 5.

Honestly I don't believe lebron really works on his game in off-season. I think he works on his mental watching film and working out to stabilize but i don't believe he isos or shoots every day for 4 5 hours. He plays himself into basketball shape.

That said... lebron is not going to be averaging 28 30 ppg. I expect him to ramp up to about 23ppg 8 rebounds and 8 assists with more 3 pointers taken.

When you're older, I feel like it makes sense. You don't want to put too much strain on your body for the full year.

Westbrook always starts out slow. He has to figure out the spacing on the Lakers team and obviously he won't get it until they get some reps with AD in there as well.
