Your athletic prime can last quite a while really. MJ was still an elite athlete until he retired in 1998. I think the shorter you are the harder it becomes, but as long as your lower body remains intact/without a major injury, you can be at a high level for a long time.

no, people like him and wilt are the top 1% of even freak athletes. So him being out of his prime is still better or = than everyone else. Its a far ride down that hill for people like them. Even outside of their athletic peak they still own others + Jordan was actually more skilled than everyone so he would of dominated far past his prime. Like lebron...like cp3....like stockton...like durant... like mayweather...ect skill doesnt erode

Point guards that stick around for awhile start pick up more and more tricks, and refine their decision making+shooting. He might not be dunking on guys anymore in a year or two, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was just as effective.
