KP with great defense and being aggressive attacking the basket, not settling for weak jumpers.

He seems to be more dialed in to his role even though no one really knows what that role is.

Kp sucks. Don’t worry when it matters his matador defense and injuries will pop up

KP doesn't play Matador defense when healthy, quite the contrary.

Go look at the highligts and see how mobile he was and how many shots were contested.

At least he has a role.

Kidd will force it and hopefully make it happen despite Luka not wanting.

Judging from what I've seen the main difference is that KP will attack the basket from the midpost instead of going for fadeaways. This is exactly the way to do it imo. Will get a lot of free throws.

Yup. Problem for the Mavs is he's about the only one who can play any defense.

Giannis loved Kidd tried to save his job, I think a player can relate more to a guy who has legitimately been in that position as a lead player for a franchise or a championship team. Prayerfully he stays healthy and Luka and co make it out the first round with a guy who is capable of giving you 20+PPG in the playoffs

I want Luka to get the most assists pr game in the league this season.

Wouldn't that be a nice way to satisfy both Luka desire for personal glory AND do what would be best for the team?

Kidd could help with that goal.

If you want luka to get the most assists you want Tim hardaway to have a career year. His buckets are mostly assisted by luka. If porzingis has a career year, it’ll be him being more mobile on defense and scoring better from the post. Wonder why you don’t root for hardaway lol

Looks like KP is healthy and he is not playing worried. He has played with energy and has not been forcing anything. He seems free. Kidd also visited him in Slovenia, showing that he really cares. I think Kidd got a much better connection with players than Rick ever had.

It doesn't matter.

There's three things in life that's certain: death, taxes and Kristaps Porzingis getting injured at some point of the season.

PorzingAss biggest issue has always been he’s soft.

Dude is 7’3 and plays like he’s 5’3. If he gets it together DallAss might make a run. If not, they’ll be about what they were last year.

As for the team caring more about what Jason Kidd has to say because he once was a great player, man I don’t know about that. Players live in the moment and fans live in the past. There are a lot of good coaches who were ass as players — Poppabitch, Phil Jackson and Steve Kerr come to mind.
