I'm a critic. Nothing will happen. There will be no consequences to Fauci or the people who empower him (Trump, the media, etc).

Like Jim Jordan, Rand Paul is simply putting on a political show so the right wingers can feel like they have someone on their side, but they don't, and this should have became obvious in 2020.

He may be sincere (though I doubt it), but he's definitely not effective. :lol
