There were other emails that New York Times got their hands on and posted an article just a hour ago. Gruden quit right after that.

this is exactly what we need in the NFL right now. More attention to this kind of bull$hit.

Keyshawn Johnson makes his comments at the 1:11 mark. Interesting.

can't wait to read all the emails of how racist Jon Gruden is.

Other emails came out where he is trashing gay NFL players, insulting women referee for getting hired, sending photos of nude women (including a couple NFL cheerleaders) to Redskins executive on the official team email account, called Goodell a 'fa*got', trashed players for kneeling during the anthem, etc lol

:lol lol at the details of his email and not surprising in the least. Gruden was an unhinged alcoholic and only getting worse during his stint at ESPN. The only reason he was hired was his coaching reputation and white supremacy.

His attitude and sobriety seemed to be improving during his Raiders coaching stint but that's now over :lol

No one should expect privacy with anything electronic.
My standard speech to new employees regarding email is “don’t ever send anything you wouldn’t be comfortable reading out loud in a court of law, and don’t ever send anything you wouldn’t be happy having your grandma read. And I say grandma, not mom, because I want you to be extra conservative.”

Until tonight, we only knew of 2 emails, both from the 2011 cba negotiation timeframe so Gruden was able to get away with the excuse that he was angry at the owners/nfl executives during that short negotiation period. He apparently explained that same excuse to the players before yesterday's game. These other leaked emails cover a 7yr period long after the CBA negotiation so Gruden's excuse becomes worthless. His career was over once these other emails came to light tonight in NYT article.

I'm not gonna defend all his comments because some of them are not defensible, but people are simply not living in reality if they don't believe men, especially those in the NFL, aren't saying fagggot & pusssy on a regular basis :lol I say those two all the time, and truth be told, fakkit honestly doesn't even mean what the media thinks it does. I've been saying it forever and I never once meant it as a slur against gay people, it's always been to reference someone being extremely lame or uncool. South Park had an episode on this exact same topic, where the characters requested the definition be changed to what I described earlier.

I used to use that word "******" too when I was a teenager. In my early 20s, I just stopped automatically. It's not professional or right to use that even if you don't have ill intent so I just stopped. I have not used it even once since I was like 22.

I also recognize now many years later that it can get you into trouble in professional settings - people won't come asking you for your reasoning or to explain yourself. Just avoid the situation altogether in the first place by keeping a clean mouth.

That and the fact that there are people out there willing to dig and find this stuff and then make it public to ruin someone's career/life.

There's some sort of sick vindication in getting someone canceled. And they say that we're all Americans, united under one flag. No we're not. There are people who want to harm you, and there are those that don't. And the ones that want to harm you are winning.

But you're molding yourself into a different person. You don't have a problem with that? You're changing who you are because society is forcing you to change. You fear speaking in a certain way for fear of being labeled a bigot or by being called out and exposed. If we all acted like you, we would have a vastly different country where people will live in fear of what to say or what to think.

Have you seen the movie Equilibrium? That's where we're headed at this rate.

It's called growing up and understanding something called kindness. I don't do it out of fear, but do it because it's the ethical thing to do. Don't demean people for being born a certain way (gay in this situation). I have several friends and classmates who are gay. Two of them kept it a secret from everyone back when I knew them out of fear of being laughed at. How do you think those classmates would have felt if they heard me saying it back in my school days? It's freaking ignorant, foolish and embarrassing to even consider. Be kind to people instead of a complete jackass insulting them for something they don't control and are born as.

MAGAS defending Gruden make me sick.
Your frustration should be at Gruden not *cancel culture*.
Gruden put himself and the franchise in this position. This is called accountability (cons would know it as personal responsibility). He should be held accountable for his actions. I don't want a man like him leading a franchise.

For the ISH fagg0ts (who we have several of) who say Gruden isn't being canceled, read this article from known anti-White racist, William Rhoden.

https://theundefeated.com/features/gruden-is-gone-now-the-nfl-should-get-rid-of-those-who-enabled-him/

He wants all of Gruden's "enablers" gone/canceled/fired/whatever you want to call it. So if you think this isn't going after people and ruining their lives, you're a ****ing idiot.

It's either think the way we want you to think and say the stuff we want you to say, or we will destroy you. If you think that Rhoden clown hasn't called Whites all sorts of slurs and called homosexuals all sorts of slurs, you're fooling yourself. And because Liberals control the media, they control the outcome. They control what you hear. What you see. How you feel.

There are rumors that the nfl shifted the focus to gruden intentionally by leaking these emails to protect Dan Snyder and potentially other owners/nfl office executives who may have done the same (no other emails got released except those concerning gruden). Nfl also gets to keep dealing with demaurice Smith, who was re-affirmed as head of nflpa yesterday (hint: Smith might be corrupt and giving the owners favorable treatment. Gruden email makes Smith look like a victim deserving of benefit of the doubt).

Good article here on it:

Dan Snyder has refused to sell the team, and the nfl has not pushed him out. That means he has damning material on the other owners/nfl executives that he is basically blackmailing the nfl with. I wish the fbi would investigate these fools.

The only problem I have is that the nfl is hiding the other 650,000 emails. Expose them all. I don't give a sh!t if it's an owner or executive or player or whomever. This is a professional setting - I expect professionalism. The nfl has a right to these emails since they were sent on their servers using official team email accounts.

And no, I have never sent these sorts of emails to anyone who I worked with in a professional setting, including even a couple volunteer organizations I have done work for. It has always been professional because that is what I have been taught since I was young. There is one way to communicate with friends/family and another way to communicate with co-workers, classmates, etc.

And these emails cover 2011 to 2018 for gruden so it's not just 10 years ago but rather a much longer period of multiple years. This is a pattern of behavior.

We don't know how far back the non-gruden emails concern, but they are on official email. These are not private email accounts. This may be a pattern of behavior across the nfl. Gruden is a part of the issue. A much bigger issue that encompasses a huge part of the nfl, bigger part than we realize.

Why expose the emails at all? What benefit does it have at this stage? If no crimes were committed, then exposing emails to show how vile and vulgar some people are serves no purpose. No good comes from it. It only creates further division in my honest opinion.

Someone in the NFL clearly wanted to get Gruden otherwise the emails wouldn't have been leaked. Have to wonder about the fact that he seemed so comfortable talking like that in emails. Maybe he had a receptive audience.

I have no sympathy for Gruden though. Zero. Setting aside all the slurs when you are dumb enough to trash the commissioner in emails then you are just begging for trouble.

The raiders owner got a lucky break getting out of Grudens contract. Not a good coach and lousy in the draft in addition to being a prick obviously.

The Raiders win in the long run because you still have that loser Nagy as coach. I'm not even a bears fan and i hate that guy :lol

That's funny because when I call someone a f*ggot IRL, I mean it exactly as how that slur was intended. That's probably the GOAT insult, to call another man a c*cksucker. Nothing should disgust another straight male more than to be called a degenerate that takes a c*ck into his mouth and ass.

People are born how they are born. Gayness is not a social construct but biological - I think there is a DNA gene that impacts it. No need to insult people for being born the way they are. Yes, it's not normal but if they don't control it then it is what it is. They don't deserve hate for it.

That's not what he's trying to say. Calling your best buddies a "fagg0t" has been around for years. It's a funny insult cause you're not homosexuals. It would be different if we were walking up to a homosexual such as yourself and calling you a "fagg0t" to your face. That's disrespectful, and hardly ever happens. So what's happening now is that we're canceling people based on how we talk to people in our inner circle. Our locker room talk is being judged. If I use that language on a daily basis, then who are you to seek me out and try to ruin my life because of my language and the expletives and derogatory terms I choose to use. What's next? The thought police? You see where this is going? We are creating new rules for society each and every day just to fulfill a personal void that you may have. And you do that by virtue signaling every single chance you get.

We have not seen the exact emails, but Gruden calling Goodell a "f*gg*t" wasn't the only case. Apparently, he trashed some former coach (I think one of the Shanahans) for drafting a gay player. I recall reading he also trashed one of his own players for being gay after publicly complementing. Repeated behavior and in different ways is a red flag.

And no, I'm not gay. Just because I don't know what that term's history is or what it used to mean doesn't make me gay. It's called being respectful and not a total douchebag (like you are). I said it occasionally in my teenage years but only with the childish "-it" ending and never the "-ot" ending.

You sound like such a dweeb. I bet you're the kind of Liberal with glasses and pink hair. Stop castigating others for how they speak in their inner circles. It's none of your business just like I could care less how you talk and cry among your inner circle of dweebs, I mean friends.

Nagy just seems like a dick to work for. He's scapegoated a kicker, bunch of coordinators and a couple qb's to take the pressure off himself.

To answer your question... I liked zenmaster when he became lakers coach :lol

And, I can deliver you one of the greatest compliments in sports... at least you aren't a cubs fan
