Irving's already stated that if he were to be traded from Brooklyn, he would retire. Maybe he's just blowing smoke out his ass but I doubt any team would bother trying to test that theory.

Dallas wouldn't have to give up all that. If Nets could just get Pporzingis they would celebrate. Irving made his retirement threat so they may stay away but Irving may just accept this compromise to get to continue playing and making money without vax.

I like how Kyrie makes this threat as if it were a huge blow to the league.

If Mavs trade Porzingis, which they shouldn't, then they need to get a big man in return, because Dwight Powell and Kleber starting aint it, Kyrie or not.

Yes.

Cube need to move now.

Kyrie is a sensitive soul, but not in the lame way like Durant, and he needs to be in a more normal environment with more grounded players like Boban.

A couple months ago I would say this idea is crazy, but with Carlisle gone and Kyrie staring down the barrel of not being paid I think it's reasonable.

A couple things need to happen:
1) Irving has to okay a trade.
2) Irving and Durant need to come to grips this is best for them both.
3) KP needs to somehow stay healthy

KP + 1st would do it. I think both teams jump at that trade.

I wouldn't want to deal with Irving but the things Harden did in Houston with Chris Paul show that a team with two great perimeter players can make a winning combination in the modern eta even when the bigs aren't good.

You mean the things Chris Paul basically did himself and then replicated with the Suns?

Because “Small Game James” had nothing to do with it.

Irving would be a terrible fit in Dallas.

With all that Harden did statistically I don't see the point in arguing that he was a high impact player. You have bought into a narrative for whatever troll reason you have. Harden is not great in the playoffs but he is dominant in the regular season.

Oh okay so you meant with all the things Harden and CP3 did together in the regular season, it provides a template for Luka and Irving to have a great regular season.

Sounds like the kind of thing teams should be interested in. Thanks for clarifying, Real Men Wear Green.

I mean if Paul didn’t get hurt against GS they very well could have won a championship. They looked like a better team through 5 than one of the best teams we’ve ever seen.

So there’s that.

One more unvaccinated person isn't going to make any difference. But on the flip side I wouldn't want Irving. He's shown over the last few seasons that he's very good at coming up with reasons not to play. He was against the bubble(and he was injured and wouldn't have played anyway) he walks out on the Nets with no explanation last season and now it's about the needle. You can almost rely on his unreliability.

My point is that’s because Paul was the one who made them a dangerous playoff team. Just as he was the driving force behind the Suns finals run.

Harden was just his usual Playoff Harden - which is to say, trash.

Sounds like someone’s still salty from Irving not wanting his team.

Scratch off Dallas Mavericks. Cuban said he requires everyone he works with to be vaccinated unless if they have a legit reason that is documented by a doctor.

Did I say anything that wasn't true? Randomly decide not to show up at your job for a week or two and see what happens. The Nets are pretty salty themselves, they just rescinded Irving's extension offer.

Here's what Cuban had to say on a podcast just a couple of days ago:

“It is your choice, it is absolutely positively up to you. But there's consequences that come with that,” Cuban said on an episode of “10 Questions With Kyle Brandt."

“If you work for me, I require my employees to be vaccinated, unless there's a doctor's reason where they can't be. Like you — I don't want my kids to be at risk. So, you know, the consequences of you not being vaccinated is, I'm not going to shut the f--- up, I'm going to be in your motherf------ ear driving you motherf------ crazy,” the "Shark Tank" star continued.

That's illegal tho.

If Kyrie were already on the Mavs, that might be an issue. But Cuban took a pretty hardline stance, I don't see any reason why he'd compromise his position and and make a trade.

That's illegal tho.

No, it's not. Many companies/corporations are mandating vaccines. Dallas Mavericks is a private organization/company.
