He averaged 18.7 pre-Anthony Davis. He will put something similar.

he's not scoring over 15 this year imo. It's just hard to score 18 when he's not going get 30mpg and he wont with the wizards depth. Also for a lot of those guys their best skill is scoring the ball. Beal and dinwiddie will combine for like 50 themselves not to mention rui, harrell, bertans etc

Ingram had a 1-year drop in everything alongside Lebron (PER, BPM, VORP, WS/48, three-point efficiency)

But then resumed his ascent upon leaving Lebron-ball

Kuzma will do the same.. Expect some 40-point eruptions just like the honeymoon period with Lebron before the realities of bron-ball set in ("didn't i tell you to stay in the damn corner?")

Payton Pritchard dropped 92pts in summer league. Fluke or will he carry it over and average 40ppg?

Averaging more PPG than he did last season. **** efficiency, **** playing time, dissing LeBron is all that matters!

Anyone who has watched Kuzma for more than 3 games understands that he has flashes of brilliance where he heats up and looks like a borderline All-NBA player for a game or two... followed usually by stinker after stinker.

He is super athletic but he is dumb af.

He’s going to average 5-7 more points per game on a team that won’t make the playoffs in the East.

His role will be diminished over time because people will realize that giving Kuz the reigns will lead you nowhere.

I do look forward to him scoring a little bit more though and people acting like Bron ball is the reason for it.

I think this wizards team has as good a chance of making the playoffs as they did last year.

Eh. Westbrook is someone that can carry you through the regular season.

Essentially replacing him with Kuz and KCP is an absolute downgrade. And teams 9-11 from last year will be better. Don't see them making the playoffs at all. Maybe the 10 seed for a shot to get in. But that's it.

They need Harrell for now. Bryant’s got that acl injury so it’s just him and gafford at center. Also wizards are banking on rui developing and bertans bouncing back

He stayed a year too playing with lebron. I think he is damaged goods as AD, Bosh, Wade, Love, Kyrie all have been. If kuz bounces back, that will be a testament to his resilience.

Kuz went from averaging 19 a game in 2019 to 12 in 20. What happened?

And Caruso

He's fun and all but not someone who's going to move the needle in any way.

Nice energy guy off the bench on a contender but not useful playing a larger role on an average team

That's what happens when you play with lebron. Everyone gets diminished over time.

Ok. So it didn't have anything to do with them getting AD and thus becoming a title contender? And being relegated to the bench because of that?

Sure but all 3 guys Caruso, Kuz and KCP vs 1 aging Westbrook? Tough sell. We'll see.

It wasn't really an entire season of Lebron Ball and others were injured too so he was able to shoot the ball more.

When Lebron had his groin injury and was out, Kuzma averaged 21.5 ppg and that's with him not having a good stretch from 3 with just 28.4%. He averaged 18.1 ppg prior to James' injury but you also had other injuries and suspensions mixed in there.

Also look at last season... Kuzma averaged just 12 ppg prior to Lebron's injury and 15 ppg when he was out but he wasn't given as many touches offensively in that stretch compared to what he got in '19. He could be a legitimate 20+ ppg scorer in Washington if they run the offense through him more and they'll need it.

What happened between 2019 and 2020? Why did he stop getting as many touches?
