In the past, I've thought Reggie Miller is one of the better color commentators. Knows a lot about the game and is articulate about talking about the game both in a sophisticated way that a player would know, but also casual observations about the game, momentum, personal details about the players.
Watching today's pre-season game (Lakers v. Warriors), Miller was pretty obnoxious- interrupting constantly, disrupting Kevin Harlan's points. Also talking at length, limiting the call-by-call play commentary by Harlan.
Then it got to the point they were constantly interrupting each other. Perhaps the commentators are also shaking off the rust pre-season. If not, this is going to be a long season as a basketball viewer for TNT games.
