.
Since 1980: Pau Gasol, Rip Hamilton, Klay Thompson, Scottie Pippen, Jason Terry, Robert Horry
Factual Conclusion: Only the goat or his clone (kobe) won multiple rings with true 2nd options

Only 3 ball can make the same thread and phrase it 100 different ways. We got it. You hate Lebron and think Pippen sucks.

Did you see he got exposed as a Kobe fan who just hides behind MJ cuz he’s afraid to compare Kobe and LeBron?:lol hilarious stuff

Winning while leading your teams in points, rebounds, assists is a true first option ring
LeBron did it for all his rings
MJ NEVER did it

How hard is it to have everything 3ball type come out as gibberish? This board at this point is complicit in this freakshow.

I would easily take Pippen over Worthy, Dumars & Parker, FMVP and your laughably arbitrary ppg criteria be damned.

I would easily take Pippen over Worthy, Dumars & Parker, FMVP and your laughably arbitrary ppg criteria be damned.
* The Pistons needed Dumars to average 27 and 6 assists, so they wouldn't win with Pippen's 19.0 on 42% Finals averages
* The Spurs needed Parker to average 24 on 55% and be a wizard penetrator/playmaker - Pippen can't fullfill this role
* The Lakers needed Worthy to lead them in scoring for back-to-back rings - this included 30 on 62% in the 87' WCF, FMVP, and 25 ppg overall playoff average - Pippen isn't capable of this
So you would have zero rings with Pippen in their place because SCORING is what determines if a player is 2nd option - those dynasties needed elite scoring (shown above), which Pippen wasn't capable of because he was a true 2nd option (lower producing player).
Ultimately, Pippen was outscored by the opponent's 2nd leading scorer in half the series of his career, which proves that he wasn't a legit 2nd option, while his low PPG and worst-ever efficiency further confirms that he couldn't handle the load/volume.. So again - every winning sidekick since 1980 won FMVP or averaged 24+, except true 2nd options that average far less like Klay, Pippen, Rip Hamilton, Horry or Jason Terry - indeed, only MJ/Kobe are won multiple rings with true 2nd options.

You don't know what the fck you're talking about. The Pistons swept a Lakers team with Magic missing most of the series. The Spurs swept one of the worst Finals teams ever with LeBron having one of the worst series series of his career. The Lakers swept a 39 win Sonics team in the conference finals. The notion that these performances were "needed" and the fact you legitimately don't believe Pippen would've won in their place is laughable.

No they didn't.

No they didn't.
Duncan, Parker, Ginobili and Kawhi are superior scoring options to Pippen, so Pippen would be 5th option on the Spurs - Pippen could never create his own shot and would be perfect as a defensive role player in that system

Those are the performances that those teams won with (elite scoring from the sidekick)... :confusedshrug:
if it was easy to win without a FMVP sidekick or without a 24 ppg sidekick, then more sidekicks would've won that way then just Klay, Pippen, Pau, Rip, Terry and Horry (true 2nd options)
But those teams required more than 2nd option production to win, so they got elite 1st option production from their sidekick - that's the standard for championships - only MJ/Kobe could routinely win with 2nd option production - that's the historical record

Don't forget that Manu in 2007 finals had a higher GmSc then lebron did

Literally has nothing to do with what I said.
But yea..the Spurs didn’t require Parker’s finals performance
