Thoughts? No one seems to care about this and I just don't get it. Is it a matter of simply not knowing?
I'm not the biggest fan of religion (obviously), but must admit...This stuff is very concerning and could easily be interpreted as what the Bible describes. The one world order, the mark of the beast etc. It is...a change, for sure.
I heard the Australian treasurer briefly mention investigating cbdcs and controlled spending before disappearing from the media for months. Around the same time the prime minister briefly mentioned smart cities before also disappearing from the media for months. I didn't hear a single person mention what they said, never seen anything reported in the news about it. This was during a chaotic stage regarding the covid spread. Note: They are right wing politicians and very corrupt, so don't be bringing the bullshit in here. You know who you are.
Makes me wonder if I should leave the country as it seems to have changed since I've been here but thinking again..It's probably going to be like this absolutely everywhere except for countries adopting Bitcoin etc, although they will likely be on their own when in need of aid (if not taken to war).
Does anyone see a silver lining here? Anyone want to play devil's advocate?
Only things that would make sense to me is climate change - Let's face it. We are not changing in any significant way before a further temp increase. And I'm not going to argue about climate change with people here, btw.
Avoiding a crash worse than the great depression.
Avoiding another world war.
Anyone got any ideas what is going through the heads of the central banks and governments apart from totally enslaving us all?

Bingo. People just don't know. My dad is in his 60s and he didn't know until a few years ago that the US Dollar is based on nothing other than belief. He thought it was still linked to gold. My dad doesn't understand that printing a bunch of money is leading to inflation which is driving up everyone's costs across the board. He thinks that all of it is just companies trying to gouge people.
I'm not the biggest fan of religion (obviously), but must admit...This stuff is very concerning and could easily be interpreted as what the Bible describes. The one world order, the mark of the beast etc. It is...a change, for sure.
The mark of the beast in the bible is specifically referenced as being on the right hand or the forehead. I don't think we're there just quite yet, heh. People like to overlook this, but that's specifically what it says. Right hand or forehead. Maybe this ends up being QR code tattoos... I don't know... it wouldn't surprise me. But like I said... right hand or forehead. It's very explicitly stated. So if the Bible is true, that is how it will unfold. Until then, it's just another loon claiming it's the end times.
Makes me wonder if I should leave the country as it seems to have changed since I've been here but thinking again..It's probably going to be like this absolutely everywhere except for countries adopting Bitcoin etc, although they will likely be on their own when in need of aid (if not taken to war).
If the US Dollar goes boom, there is no where to hide including somewhere like El Salvador that has made BTC legal tender... though it is true that most countries will be better off than being in the US, in such a scenario. Your absolute best bet will be to living in a very remote location and generating your own heat and food sources without any dependence on any outside source whatsoever.
That being said, clearly I am not smart enough to know when such things will unfold. I honestly thought it already would have started in a major way... you can't just print that much money and get away with it. Turns out though, there is so much inertia built up behind the United States that the unraveling will take longer than I am able to calculate, understand, or anticipate.
Does anyone see a silver lining here? Anyone want to play devil's advocate?
The silver lining is that now with the advent of the internet, the information is going to be out there for everyone and anyone to see and understand once it all truly unravels. The countries of the world are going to turn to Bitcoin as the global reserve standard at some unknowable point and at that point, it is over for central bankers. It is over for psychopaths. Their power will do nothing but dwindle from there. Unless humanity wipes itself out, wars will cease. When you can't print money out of thin air, you can't continue to pay for conflict. And eventually the overall size of government continues to reduce more and more until it is literally nothing other than the will of the people... which will be far less than it is now. Because despite all of the bullshit that people on the left spit out of their mouth, nobody really wants to pay for all of this shit in the long run. Nobody actually deep in their hearts wants to pay for an expanding federal government. It will all come to an end.
Bitcoin is literally going to save the planet unless we destroy it before we get to that point.
Only things that would make sense to me is climate change - Let's face it. We are not changing in any significant way before a further temp increase. And I'm not going to argue about climate change with people here, btw.
Bitcoin incentivizes miners going for cheap energy... which is usually clean. Coal is very cheap and kind of one of the exceptions at the moment, but the more time goes on and the more expensive Bitcoin becomes, the more difficult it becomes to mine profitably... which continues to push miners towards renewables and the absolute cheapest energy sources possible. Read: not coal. El Salvador is now using a ****ing volcano for Bitcoin mining. The future is here.
But it is true... even usually the most staunch environmental activists are still doing things that they shouldn't be doing. And the keyboard internet warriors that go on and on about climate change are the biggest hypocrites of us all.
Your everyday person's behaviors are not going to change enough to stop climate change. Climate change is here and it is coming no matter what. We will either engineer our way out of it and figure out how to reduce the emissions already in the air... or... we don't. No one thing, no banning of any industry specifically... is going to stop it. It is what it is. Engineer our way out or bust. That simple.
Anyone got any ideas what is going through the heads of the central banks and governments apart from totally enslaving us all?
That's all they care about. There is a reason we don't learn in detail about the money supply in schools. There is a reason that the public is largely asleep to the fact that all money is based on two things... the supply and demand factor... and belief. That's it. The US dollar in every denomination is the equivalent of toilet paper in the long run.
All fiat currencies devalue over time because governments flat out can't help themselves but to print so they can spend more... including democracies. Politicians figure out that they can keep staying in power by giving people free shit, be those people the public or the military industrial complex or corporations or whatever... the money printing never stops.
The only way to free ourselves from government psychopaths is to take control of the money supply.
Enter Bitcoin.
**** those crazy assholes.

The most amazing thing to me, about money, is that it controls so many aspects of our day to day lives, and yet most people are so incredibly ignorant on the subject and trusting in the system that they just assume how things are being done now is correct and they can't be bothered to think about it. People go absolutely batshit insane bonkers over meaningless political matters that have basically zero impact on their day to day lives, because media told them to, and yet they ignore the fact that they are living in a monetary system designed to enslave them as much as possible and keep them on the treadmill which obviously has a huge impact on their lives. It's really quite something. Maybe one day... but not today.
I can't speak for outside countries, but I think for Americans it really boils down to the fact that we're all spoiled. Even the poor among us are usually doing somewhat ok. We don't produce much in the way of physical goods other than food and yet here we are enjoying the spoils of our country's initial greatness.
We're essentially subdued.

Well well well, how the turntables. You are one of the last posters I ever expected to see posting "conspiracy theories".
IMHO you are spot on with this post, not just about the fact that TPTB will use digital currency to control us, but also about the creepy religious subtext to all of it.
Whats been going on for the past 1.5 years with the covid charade and the lockdowns has nothing to do with protecting people from a virus (as if any govt ever actually gave a fvck about public health)... its 100% about implementing a universal digital ID system, and a social credit system and central bank digital currency to go with the ID.
Things are more dire for Australians than most of the rest of the world right now, but theres nowhere on earth that you can run from this (at least not for very long). An invisible digital prison is currently being constructed around all of humanity, and the only way to prevent it from happening is if enough people resist. The who want to enslave humanity are extremely powerful, but they cant pull this off unless a large enough percentage of humanity is willing to go along with it.

You formed an opinion about a bunch of text on the internet. On a website notorious for trolls. Which caused you to decide who I am. It's not that serious. I could pretend to be anyone and influence you. Beware, brainwashed one.

You think you're the only one who is trolling around here? I encourage you to pretend to be whoever you want, for starters why dont you pretend to be intelligent and see if you can fool anyone :oldlol:
Anyway, if a "brainwashed" person agrees with your conspiracy theory, what does that say about you?

Eventually we will have another great depression due to this non stop money printing (fake) and massive deficit spending.

The most immediate threat to our economy would be an industrial revolution. Most people think it's all menial jobs like retail, truckdriving and delivery being taken over, but a lot of white collar jobs will too. We already have algorithms that can perform simple accounting tasks. Eventually we'll have a computer who can perform advanced accounting, and boom half the staff's laid off because you only need half the manpower to review workpapers... if that. As the workpapers get reviewed they can iron out inconsistencies in the algorithm, making the robot accountant better and better; requiring less and less review of its working papers and more and more actual accountants being laid off. Day traders already have these systems because that's where the money is, so that's where the tech and development went into first... but I have no doubt it'll make its way into the Actuary field to the point where I may very well become obsolete. I'll probably be in my 40's then. Imagine being told to start from scratch in your mid 40's? Imagine going back to school so you can get an IT job doing maintenance on robots who took your job in the first place.

That's why there's a depopulation agenda. What's the point of having useless humans who don't work or positively contribute to the planet in any meaningful way?
It was explained here and its true. He literally... on camera... says they are going to shrink human population through vaccines.

Its amazing the man can say it on camera but the masses will still deny it.

For someone like Gates who is obviously dominating the market, he would benefit from a larger population.

Youre thinking that just because there's more people that means more money, but money is an abstract concept. It isn't backed by anything. Tangible resources are real. That's why Gates owns the most farmland in the USA right now. Food is a tangible asset. Probably the most tangible asset in earth history.
The truth is human beings have over run this planet. They've killed off and endangered so many other forms of life. A massive imbalance exists in nature currently. And its going to be corrected.

And it is backed by something, the word of the govt. Take that for what it is, I'm not going to argue with you on what that's worth, but post WWII Germany is a good example of no matter how dire your currency gets you still can't let it fail.
The farmland Gates owns has its value increased by labor from the market and profits from demand from the market. The larger the market, the more value added to his land through cheaper and more labor and more demand for its yields which means more sales and higher prices. So again, to someone like Gates from a monetary perspective the larger the market the better off he is, while the average citizen who works on his land has to work for less and pay a higher living expense.
The truth is human beings have over run this planet. They've killed off and endangered so many other forms of life. A massive imbalance exists in nature currently. And its going to be corrected. That I can 100% agree with.

Well no shit robotics and AI are going to wipe out far more jobs than they add. People always say "who's going take care of the robots?" while overlooking the fact that 1 guy is servicing a plethora of robots and AI while said robots and AI have wiped out hundreds of people.
It is coming no matter what.
The good news is though, if you believe in aliens having ever visited us, chances are good AI doesn't wipe us out... but I guess we'll see.
