That would be the worst stats in LeBrons career

Even 2011 LeBron was 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 47% FG :confusedshrug:

Who cares about rebounding or assists when you have a player that is controlling the scoreboard (the scoring)

Jordan set the record for burden (percenage of team points) and clutch points (points scored when the game was close)

Show me a player that won with no 3rd scoring option, while playing 4 on 5 (rodman) and a sidekick getting 15.7 on 41%.. whoever wins with that is a GENIUS on offense

Kobe as sidekick averaged only almost 16 ppg in his finals debut.

Fortunately, Kobe has so many rings that we can exclude that one and he's still top 10 all-time

But the reality is that the Pacers would've taken the Lakers 7 games in 2000 (and win according to Mark Jackson) if Kobe doesn't win that OT game

Fyi he needed shaq to carry him to three straight finals and only got his first finals mvp award in his sixth trip to the finals.

Kobe fans understand and PREFER that he's the MVP against the Western teams like the Spurs and Kings - real championship-caliber opponents.

Otoh, Shaq's FMVP's against the 1-star Eastern teams is a far lesser accomplishment... Who cares that he dominated a little lebron cavs or iverson sixers team or kidd's nets

Omg that's krazy

So they hand finals mvps now to the victors of conference finals? Interesting.

Well most people are aware that the 00's East is the only conference in history that was won by multiple 1 star teams (five times), so people understood that winning against that conference was a foregone conclusion and the "real Finals" was against the best Western opponent - that's when Kobe was needed and that's when he dominated the clutch points category

And shaq won it all despite kobe being such a cancer that time.

Shaq needed a goat perimeter stud to have 1 seeds and win (Penny, Kobe, Wade, Lebron) - no one in history played with more help

Only when a coach presented a good brand of ball could Shaq win, and even then he needed the Jordan skillset to make the triangle work (11 chips for the triangle with MJ/Kobe... 0 without... aka the offense needs non-dribble bailouts throughout the game - so enter the MJ/Kobe skillset)

if lebron was a more dominant fearless scorer and defender he would probly have gone down as a 7 or 8 time champion and easily the goat but sadly he had a beta cuck mentality and was too shook and passive.. plus that whole roid/ring chasing stuff didn't help

people only pass when there's a better option available. Jordan with a defender on him was a better option than a wide open teammate most times. lebron was never good enough to be that kind of go to player under any circumstance. which probly explains why he has only 4 contested shot attempts in the last 2 years

To do the bolded above, you must have elite jumpshooting skill - that gives you the confidence to come down and just POP OFF... Lebron can't do that.. The few times he did it, he looked goat-level (that one game against the 07' Pistons) - but those are just one-offs because the elite jumpshooting skill isn't there.

LeBron would be ringless if he ever had 4 rebounds and 2 assists in a finals.

Unfortunately for Jordan's all time status, rebounds and assists do matter to the outcome of the game.

Lebron only averaged 25 in the 13' Finals - Jordan wouldn't win any Finals with those numbers

Otoh, Jordan can win with low rebounds and assists because those are role player categories - only scoring is a "star" category that determines if someone is a star or not
