He had the better team in every series

Because he faced two players that are bigger and better then him (lebron and kawhi).

Is kawhi really better? Curry has averaged 19+ against a healthy finals team. Multiple times even!

But in the end, they handed over the finals mvps to his teammates each time their team won rings. :ohwell:

Maybe because they knew being clutch in crucial moments and providing defensive impact against perennial superstars are recipes to attaining the said credential. Unfortunately, chef dingo can only do so much in being effective in either. :(

Let's just stick to what happened instead, shall we? ;)

Because he played against Lebron.

If he played against Jordan, his record would be 0-5.

He needed KD otherwise he loses to a Canadian team, let alone a super-team like Kyrie/Lebron/Love

Btw, Curry played the weakest Finals comp ever, aka he beat the most-losing team in Finals history

kawhi's raptors finals MVP is like 5x better then any player has done in the 2010's era outside of maybe 2016 lebron which is close but still not quite as great.

Dirk had a better team then Kawhi. Jason Terry had a higher GmSC then Kobe Bryant and Lebron James that playoffs hahahahaha also hall of fame level point god Jason Kidd.

Even if Kawhi is 40 years old and had 20 surgeries, he'll still beat the hell out of that midget curry in a playoff series

33 seconds:

Kawhi Hall the 6"8 monster destroying curry the midget "mind your own business punk. Huh. You know who your messin with. Messing with a finals mvp. You don't want none of this. Nothing personal, finals MVP business you stay out of it"

Yet he left that team when summer came, only to join a laughingstock one the succeeding season and blow a 3-1 lead against the 7'1 brian windhorst in the second round of the 2020 bubble. Yikes.

This.

Also, 3/5 (60%) is better than 4/10 (40%). When I explain these kinds of things to people like OP, I feel like I'm explaining something to a 6 year old who's just not that smart.

Playing against Curry and Klay is a lot different than playing Stockton and Hornacek:oldlol:
Jordan was phenomenal in the finals, most of the time. But he’s not going 6-0 in today’s era.

Yeah MJ would not have only 6-6 Finals record in this era.

That would probably be 12-12 whie playing in weak East with big trees teams.

MJ-Wade-Bosh

Or

MJ-Irving-Love

Sounds like they could win 74 games in regular season.
