Executives at Amazon, including founder Jeff Bezos, may have misled or lied to Congress about the firm's business practices, top US lawmakers have said.
Anyone think an actual consequence will come of this? Something more than a slap on the wrist fine to give the public an illusion of justice that Amazon will overpay like Facebook. Bezos buys a few seats at a couple of their fundraisers. Maybe he actually shows up at one or two. You just don’t mess with someone who can toss 8-9 figures into your political opponent’s warchest like nothing.
