Chris Paul’s team blown leads:

2-0 vs Spurs in 2008
2-0 vs Grizzlies in 2013
3-1 vs Rockets in 2015
2-0 vs Blazers in 2016 (broken hand)
3-2 vs Warriors in 2018 (hamstring)
2-0 vs Bucks in 2021

He is the first player ever to blow four 2-0 leads in a best-of-7 series.

He's a mix of choke artist and fragile. He was injured in a lot of those series.

No. A lot of those were because he got hurt. I get it, the best ability is availability. But he hasn't been surrounded by clutch generational stars. When did he play on someone like Lebron or KD's team? He was with Blake Griffin. Yes he was with Harden and that was his best chance at a chip but that hamstring f'ed him over.

Listen I'm not a fan of his, but I am fair. He is an all time great, and he got a Suns team to overachieve because of his leadership. When I step back and think about a series someone has 'choked away', I pay attention to whether they are better and SHOULD have won. The Bucks were better last year, it is what it is.

If we are gonna give Giannis a ton of praise for what he did last year despite all the injuries that happened, then CP3 also deserves a ton of praise for leading that Suns team to the Finals, Phoenix probably doesn't even make the playoffs without CP3 last season. Booker is just a scorer and when his shot is not falling he can be a liability, he doesn't make his teammates better & doesn't play defense, and Ayton isn't a guy who is going to take over a game, a borderline All-Star at best. Make no mistake about it, CP3 is the main reason why the Suns made it to the Finals.

This is not correct at all. CP3 was the best player for maybe 1 series, and that was the one where they were missing all their guards due to injury (one came halfway, injured). Both Booker and Ayton were better and more dominant in the playoffs last PS. Series like the Lakers, CP3 was the 4th best player after their backup guard.

So the biggest choker ever has literally better numbers across the board in the playoffs, Finals and elimination games, more playoff game winners and more FMVP’s than Kobe?

garbage time stat padding in mostly pathetic wins and mostly losses overall vs actual competition while his teammates occasionally bail him out. ok

As far as big chokers go, CP doesn't hold a candle to LeShrivel, the biggest choker in NBA history BY FAR.

Here's just a small sampling of his shrivel jobs:

2007 game 1 against Detroit. 10 points on 33% shooting. LOSS.

Game 2 against Detroit. 19 points on 37% shooting. LOSS.

Game 1 against the Spurs. 14 points on 25% shooting. LOSS.

2008 game 1 against Boston. 12 points and 10 turnovers on 11% shooting. 0/6 from three. LOSS.

Game 2 against Boston. 21 points on 25% shooting. LOSS.

Game 3 against Boston. 21 points on 31% shooting.

Game 4 against Boston. 21 points on 35% shooting.

2009 game 2 against Orlando. He scored 41 points, but on absolutely horrendous efficiency. 39% shooting and 1/8 from three. LOSS. Someone should have made him stop shooting.

2010 game 5 against Boston. 15 points on 21% shooting!!! LOSS. The series was tied 2-2 until that game. That Lebron choke put the Cavs down 3-2, and they went on to lose the series.

2011 game 1 against Philadelphia. 21 points on 29% shooting.

Game 5 against Philadelphia. 16 points on 39% shooting.

Game 3 against Boston. 15 points on 38% shooting. LOSS.

Game 1 against Chicago. 15 points on 33% shooting. LOSS.

Finals against Dallas. Most epic choke job of all time. Game 3, 17 points.

Game 4, 8 points on 27% shooting. LOSS.

Game 5, 17 points. LOSS.

Game 6, 21 points and 6 turnovers. LOSS.

2013 game 3 against San Antonio. 17 points on 41% shooting. LOSS.

Game 4 against San Antonio, 15 points on 33% shooting. LOSS.

Game 5 against San Antonio, 25 points on 36% shooting. LOSS.

2014 game 5 against Indiana. 7 points on 20% shooting. Whooaaaaaaaa! LOSS.

2015 game 1 against Chicago. 19 points on 41% shooting. LOSS.

Game 6 against Chicago. 15 points on 30% shooting.

Game 4 against Golden State. 20 points on 32% shooting.

2016 game 3 against Detroit. 20 points on 33% shooting.

Game 2 against Golden State. 19 points on 42% shooting. LOSS.

2017 game 3 against Boston. 11 points on 31% shooting. LOSS.

2018 game 1 against Indiana. 24 points on 41% shooting. 0% from three. LOSS.

Game 1 against Boston. 15 points on 31% shooting. LOSS.

2020 game 2 against Portland. 10 points on 36% shooting.

Game 1 against Houston. 20 points. LOSS.

Game 4 against Houston. 16 points on 41% shooting.

Game 1 against Denver. 15 points.

2021 game 1 against Phoenix. 18 points on 46% shooting. LOSS.

Game 3 against Phoenix. 21 points and 7 turnovers on 47% shooting.

Game 6 against Phoenix. 29 points on 11/26 shooting. ELIMINATION.

CP3 is a true genius as a basketball player mind.

But players that have played with him , have stated how he talks to players brushes them off.

When he was with Houston, it was a full blown spot light on him telling Harden , and Harden just looked at the floor and looked away.

That was a playoff series , that was lost and literally broke up the team.
