What? The Lakers don't need to go with their 5 best players in October. The Lakers are taking the right approach using the regular season to figure out what they have by the end of 82 games.

Melo is their most efficient scorer aside from AD. Rondo is their best passer and has excellent chemistry with AD.

I’m not the coach but Melo will probably play a lot better than a guy like Monk at the 3 for 30 minutes
