He is making the point that good things never last, life is about balance and you will experience hardships and success so there is no point in pounding your chest when in reality your success is only temporary. Kawhi has experienced these hardships in 2020 & 2021.

It appears that LeBron's deep philosophical message has completely gotten over your head. Not surprising considering I'm talking to a guy who is still in denial about Kawhi's obvious choke job in 2020.

Anything can happen from here on out, we are only 2 games in, there is no point in pounding your chess in a regular season game in October, LeBron knows this, he has 4 FMVPs, he knows this is a marathon not a sprint.

No doubt he is a bit full of himself, all of us would have some more narcissistic traits if we were in his shoes, there have been studies that show famous people tend to be way more narcissistic than the average person, but overall LeBron is a good natured guy who has always gotten along with everyone for the most part, see no further than when he apologized to Chalmers after he exploded on him in the bench, that takes some self awareness and humility to do that. Guys like MJ & Kobe were far more narcissistic and bigger pricks than LeBron.
