He is basically a white Devin Booker. Scoring is really easy for him. :biggums:

He's gunning for Sixth Man Award if he keeps playing like he has the last couple games.
Not his fault the Heat lost.

THE SKILLS YOU MUST POSSESS TO HAVE THE AUDACITY TO TRY AND MAKE THAT MOVE?? Like BRUHH! :biggums:
Butler is the one who is supposed to be taking the big shots at the end of games, but like a coward, he is leaving the responsibility to a 21-year-old kid.
Jimmy Butler is overrated. always shows up once every 3-4 games. Also, he is coming off the bench.

League needs a cocky white boy. Sick of these ‘humble’ euro stars like luka and Jokic.

Doncic isn't humble at all. He is the reason why Carlisle is out of the door.

Yeah he looked good earlier hitting clutch shots with tons of confidence in regulation.

Name a Franchise Star who comes off the BENCH. On top of that if he could create for other teammates Miami would not have had to sign 35 year old Kyle Lowery.

He's my favorite white player since Steve Nash. Sorry but I can't relate to Eastern Europeans.

Herro is a bucket getter. But his problem is he's not getting to the line, and 90% of his shots are outside the paint. Eventually every player hits a cold streak shooting, and if you're not able to get higher percentage looks or freebies at the line, your efficiency tanks.
Right now, that's why he'll continue to come off the bench for Miami. But for sure you can see he's improved in his ability to create his own shot.

This play also shows why he maybe able score, but his basketball IQ is not very high. The defenses collaspes he has a teammate in the corner for a wide open corner 3, but he is not aware of where his teammates are. This is why he comes off the bench. He is a tremedous scorer and has improved his ball handling but his court vision is a big weakness.

Except one of the collapsed defenders is standing right in the passing lane between him and the open guy. An attempt to pass it probably ends up a turnover.

There are 4 defenders in the painted area, even if you think he couldn't make the pass to the corner there are two other great options. This is the difference between good players and great players, he is a scorer but not a playmaker.

Like I said...they are basically the same player.
Both have also made the finals without playoff trips in their respective preceding years and they lost lol.

Well D Book was his scoring mentor and role model in college so it's no surprise his offensive game is so similar, but I'm glad to see that continued to develop his game in the league like Book and is able to carry the scoring load for a good NBA team like the Heat.
How's his defense been? That's the one area where Booker struggled the most early on, but has developed into a pretty damn good defender now. It's honestly amazing how bad Booker was of a defender when he was a rookie and how good he is now. Like he'll prob never be All Defense team level, but he's legitimately a good defender for a SG. And as a Suns fan, I'm so glad to be able to say that.

He's a bad defender but I care a lot less now that he's playing this well on offense. Still a very frustrating player because he has a very low Bball IQ, but he's been huge on offense this year, and looks like he'll be a high scoring guard for a long time. Would like to see him get to the line more, but he's still a kid so I'm sure he can add that. Very satisfied with his development, another excellent draft pick by Riley.

Just give it time, I'm sure he'll at least try to work on improving his defense eventually. If he can even become an average defender then that will be huge for his overall net rating. But yeah developing offense in this league is the #1 priority when your team drafted you to get buckets first and foremost.

He's good but I wouldn't say he's a problem. As good as he can be offensively he can be as bad defensively.

no idea why he's not getting the start with Lowry out. He's not just an energy guy when you look at his per 36 numbers and per 100 numbers.

I think it's because he gives them a legit scoring threat to off the bench. He's good enough to start but sometimes coming off the bench is better for the team.
Plus his defense is terrible and heat probably want to start with a tough defensive unit to defend the tougher starters from the other team.

Yeah theyve got him in the Ginobili role, albeit he’s not the all around player ‘Nu was.
And I agree ‘problem’ is definitely overstating things a bit.

Oladipo is coming off the bench and that's a scoring threat. The only reason I didn't mention him instead if because he's coming back from injury.
It's just as good a rebounding team with Herro on the floor. And I'd prefer to put Vincent then Strus on Smart, forcing Pritchard to be a playmaker than a shooter.

I don't know if I'd say Vic is a scoring threat. He used to be but right now coming back off injury he isn't what he was. I think for the most part having Herron off the bench is just strategy. Wouldn't be surprised if spols adjust and tinkers be with the line up and has Herron starting sometime this series.
