No just a symptom. Same guy that disappeared for two weeks because his sister had a birthday and wanted to abort the bubble season that he wasn't even going to be a part of. The actual mental illness runs deeper than that.

Kyrie isn't mentally ill.

Kyrie is just stupid, and he can't help that.

He's also extremely susceptible to conspiracy theories which suggests probable emotional trauma in his past.

And perhaps the worst thing about Kyrie is that he thinks he's really smart. And people continue to tell him that he's really smart... when he just flat out isn't. He's a stupid kid that's been told that he's smart his whole life and he's believed it.


Good things...

Amazing skills on the court. One of the most stylish on court players of all time. Arguably the best handles of all time and arguably the most visually impressive finisher below the rim of all time.

He's also incredibly empathetic towards people, which is commendable, and admirable. We need more of that in the world.
