but from 1979 to 1989 he was an allstar every year and averaged like 18/11 on 54%fgs while winning 3 titles in 5 finals

his accomplishments and skill level need to be factored more than his averages. he sacrificed a ton coming off the bench for the spurs when he was almost always a top 5 shooting guard in the league
