I try to have a banana at least once a day. Great for energy and overall health. But having a banana and oatmeal for breakfast I have found provides the best combo of energy and protein in the morning.

A bagel and cream cheese is definitely up there too, but not enough nutritional value.

breakfast isn't good for you. you should always wait 4 hours before eating. your body burns the most fat during the night and in the morning. you don't wanna mess with that process by filling your gut

That's a good healthy choice. I wonder if we can find a way to relay this message to Matthew Perry because he needs to lose weight too.

So wait 4 hours before you eat? I'm usually up at 7 and am probably eating around 9-9:30.

if you eat at 11 and then again at 3pm and just have those 2 regular meals youl lose 5 pounds a week eating whatever you want. you just gotta make sure not to eat the rest of the day or before bed or in the morning

That does look really good. Is that cinnamon sprinkled on the banana?

I just threw some chili in a small flour tortilla and sprinkled some cilantro on it with a side of those blue corn tortilla chips.

Yeah it's good man. Breakfast isn't as important as we once thought though. I do intermittent fasting so i don't eat until around 1 or 2 pm. I train on an empty stomach in the morning and i don't see any difference from when i'd have a good breakfast before hand. It's just personal preference

Yes. Cinnamon is the best. I put extra cinnamon in my Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

It just depends on what his goals are and how he feels. I do intermittent fasting because i'm trying to cut up a bit plus i feel better training on an empty stomach. Some people feel better with food in their belly before training. Plus if he's trying to gain alot of strength or build alot of muscle i'd say a big breakfast 2-3 hours before training is probably more ideal.

if you're a body builder or training all day yes you need as much food as possible but I don't think he's michael phelps or Ronnie coleman.

add in a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil (just gulp it down separately) and you've got your healthy fats too.

well said .
I typically get a gut hurt if I eat early.
As a kid I was raised on hot cereal , and when I became an adult - have never eaten it since. (YUK)
wife loads up on her oatmeal ... lmao

That looks like instant oatmeal, which is a fail. The dairy is a fail as well.
I do oatmeal with some blueberries and ground flax meal.
I used to hate breakfast, but it is an important meal.

Oatmeal is pretty legit (real oatmeal, not the instant crap)

That said its not even debatable that the best breakfast food is high quality eggs (free range or pastured). Not only do they taste awesome and have tons of different viable methods for preparation, but high quality eggs are arguably the single healthiest food on the planet - contains all of the essential aminos and is also loaded with vitamins and healthy fats

In my country "menemen" is very popular for breakfasts.

Ingredients are only

oil/butter
pepper
tomatoes
egg
salt

Some people also add onions.

It is easy to make. Also, it is delicious when high quality vegetables and eggs are used.

In the video, parsley is used but I never used it, I think it is not a good idea to add.

Unhealty part is we eat so much bread with that.

Yeah, I googled it, they are very similar.

Seems like the difference is garlic, parsley and not scrambling the eggs.

It's also a great post workout meal. I take the same meal and add protein and have it after my workout instead of a shake sometimes.

Back in my bodybuilding days when I was just going to the gym 7 days a week, my dinner would be a protein powder smoothie mixed with oatmeal and almonds. Sometimes I would add a can of tuna to the mix. Not in the smoothie, but just eat it separately. Protein overload.

Hahaha when i saw the tuna part before u said not in the smoothie i slightly threw up in my mouth.

I also went protein crazy when i was in my 20's and lifting hard. Now i just eat healthy and not really think about. If you have good genetics and train hard and eat relatively healthy your gonna see results regardless.
