And?
The season is long.
NBA fans are so damn reactionary.

When was the last time the Nets made the finals babyboi? Or a Nets player won MVP? Or the Nets won 73 wins? or shit, just 60 wins? What happened to the "Championship Cruise 2021" slogan you were running all of last season?

4 games. Calm yourself. The only way the Warriors MIGHT do anything substantial whatsoever is if Klay comes back at 100% and is just like he used to be, age aside of course.

To be fair, if this was the lakers there would be tons of threads made by branstans filling up the first page.

It's not just Klay, there's 2 x-factors for this team. It's Klay's healthy/how he comes back and the development of Poole. If Poole stops being a shit defender and becomes a bit more consistent offensively by the end of the RS, that's a massive, massive upside for the Warriors. The bench has been significantly better this season compared to last year which had the worst bench in the league, and he's played a solid role.
I'd say the chance of Poole developing into such a player by the end of the season is more probable than Klay coming back to his old self this season.

The Warriors won 73 games in 2016. That record is still set in stone as of right now. 73 > 72.
I'll gladly take the Lakers winning 74 games in 2022 and even losing in the finals.
74 regular season wins would be a huge accomplishment.

Let's not overlook the absence of Oubre, addition by subtraction.

Credit to curry and the organization. They play really good basketball no matter who plays. I like the ball movement best. They should be in a better position this year in the POs.

Best record in history :confusedshrug:

Warriors are gonna be contenders this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it to the finals against the bucks. I doubt they win though even with a 100% klay. Bucks are built to defend the warriors well. Also come finals time greek will be better and steph as usual will be worse.
