Embiid shooting poorly might be because there isn't a playmaker with the passing/vision like Simmons on the court though. We need a larger sample size for Sixers because all those guys are playing with an edge due to being pissed as Simmon's BS. Lets see once that wears off a month from now how they're doing.

Embiid has been playing with a bad knee. He had a MRI recently.

He never really relied on Simmons for good looks. He isn't a pick and roll big.

Philadelphia has the best offensive rating in the league.

All while Simmons, Harris and Green are all injured, ill or crazy.

Joel's knee is an ongoing issue, his athletic peak is now well and truly gone and his scoring is well down right now. But he is evolving as a player and most notably a leader.

He is doing everything across the the basketball court to help his team win. His defence is amazing this season, holding it down and providing for the whole team.

The young guys looks amazing and Curry is having a career year.

All things considered, surprisingly things are looking good on court right now.

He WAS in a minor slump very early on, altho to be fair it was too small a sample size to argue anything meaningful.

Personally Ive always loved his game, tho Ive been skeptical of how his composure/maturity will translate to leading teams in playoff environments.

But if hes made strides there then lets hope he stays healthy, and see what he can do.
