Just something I've noticed this season. The Lakers are a first half team. In the third and fourth quarters, they play like a bunch of dudes on their death bed. Lebron staying in the back court on defense, and others looking like they're barely able to jog up the court. It's not just the old guys either. Anthony Davis is in his twenties, and in the fourth quarter of every game he's looks like he's going to collapse.

In fact, in the game against the Spurs when he "injured" his knee in the last minute, spending a few minutes on the floor only to then play like his knee was just fine, it looked to me like he was just trying to get a extra couple minutes of rest. Because just a minute before that he was standing around, bent over with his hands on his knees gasping for air.

The only guys on the Lakers who play with any energy in the fourth quarter are Monk and Westbrook. If this is a conditioning issue, then the Lakers need to fix it ASAP. If they don't, it's going to be a long season for them.

Happens when most of the team is 40 years old.
