Curry is in the position to win the game with trash teammates due to his ability to manipulate the defense. MJ otoh isn’t capable of carrying scrubs. Curry wishes he could make the playoffs with 30 win teams

He's easy to stop because you just have to stay close to 3-point shooters (most threes are infact open shots, according to the NBA's tracking data)

Otoh, pure scorers can't be stopped by just staying close to them because they're BALLING (not just shooting threes), which is why Kyrie and Ja always get the best of Curry when it matters most

Btw, Jordan attempted less than 1.5 threes per game (bailout volume) every year except 90 & 93' regular season or the 92' Finals and 93' Playoffs when he shot well - so Jordan was a good 3-point shooter above bailout volume, which means that he'd be getting hot at 7-10 attempts in today's game - he'd have a lot of shrug games today.. Ultimately, Curry would have a crappy percentage like Jordan if he purposefully limited his threes to 1 bailout per game (like MJ did for most of his career).

Is that why he doesn't have any memorable NBA Finals moments?
