Go ahead curry, average 40PPG this season if you like. Go on 60 win pace without Klay. Do whatever you want.
At the end of the day, your legacy will always be the guy with the biggest chokejob in NBA history a 73 win team blowing a 3-1 lead and also the biggest beta in NBA history never winning any finals mvps. :applause:

Kawhi's choke was just as bad as Curry's. Yes, his was coming off a 73 win season, but at least it occurred against a GOAT candidate having an ATG series. Kawhi's was as a colossal favorite against a bunch of players who had never accomplished anything. And they both ended their series with the worst superstar Game 7 performances ever.

Another daily reminder than Curry has the greatest record season of all time. Kawhi on the other hand has been spoonfed 50+ win teams for 90% of his career and has yet to have a single MVP.

Here's the thing. Nobody gives a shit about Jokic. He's never going to be on an alltime great lists or win any rings. So it doesn't matter. "Hey kawhi remember that time you lost to jokic" nobody will even remember because nobody cares about Jokic and he'll never be comparable to careers with Kawhi.
It's much worse when a well respected player like Lebron makes you his bitch for life because Lebron is comparable to Curry.

I agree with you that Curry's loss will be much more remembered than Kawhi's. The 2016 Finals is one of the most iconic series in league history with huge historical ramifications and several iconic moments, the Clippers 2020 loss does not :lol
But your logic is ass backwards. It's MUCH more respectable to lose to a player of LeBron's caliber than one of Jokic's. That's like saying it's better to lose to Kirk Cousins than Tom Brady.

Curry will leave a better Legacy behind IMO. Curry is the Greatest shooter ever and was the most integral Player in the Warriors Dynasty and stayed with the same team. Kawhi will be remembered as the Guy who popularised Load Management and team hopped. To be fair, Toronto will remember him for leading them to their First ring. Plus Kawhi was gifted his first ring playing with an aging Spurs Dynasty and the GOAT Coach of our generation.
He’ll also always be remembered as better than Kawhi :lol

My recollection of that series had Bron step over Draymond and Draymond getting suspended for the game. That same year I believe someone on the Rockets hard fouled Klay and another Steph. One of those was a enough to be suspended the next game, but the NBA decided to suspend that player on the first game of the next regular season. Anyway all the hate over Curry etc, is pretty sad if you want to know the truth. Who has time to create lame threads, basically copies of other threads like it over the last few years. There is something that is found outside your momma's garage apt., it's a ******, try really hard to get in one, and it will change your life for the better.

Curry is an all time great no matter what. One of the best scorers of all time. He lost to LeBron which in the grand scheme of things isn't very surprising when you look back now. That's what most people will remember about him.
I'm not sure what Leonard's "legacy" will look like in 20 years time but I'd be surprised if he's remembered as fondly as people will remember Curry's game in general. I don't even particularly like Curry but he's not really a player that should be hated on. It's not like he's James Harden or something.

It means Kawhi played on stacked teams. The Spurs were a dynasty before he got there. Raps won 59 games the year before he got there. Warriors were nothing when they got Steph.
What would happen if Steph joined a dynasty, or a 59 win team?
Regular season MVPs are more important than finals MVPs. Kawhi never has a never will win one.

Curry never won anything until Draymond\Klay got there.
Spurs were losers in the 2010s and old, they got eliminated by an 8th seed in the 1st round in 2011 the year before kawhi was drafted.
Raptors got swept in the 2nd round and fired their coach the year before Kawhi arrived.

Curry had potential to be GOAT. But, arguments you wrote made him a top 15 player. He still has chance to be a top 10.
However, your god, Kawhi, had potential to be top 10-15 (which is around Curry's current rank), but his chokes made him only top 30-40 player.
Kawhi has literally 0 accomplishments. Always landed on good/great teams, never averaged 19+ against a healthy team in the Finals, needed the corpse of Marc Gasol to lock down Embitch to make it out of the 2nd round.

732 points on 62% TS is the greatest scoring playoff run for any finals mvp in history and he had the toughest path ever going through Giannis\Curry, not sure what else you want. Embiid had superstar Butler and still lost despite kawhi having absolutely zero help offensively.

I just dunno why these retards keep regurgitating the same sh!+ that there was a Spurs dynasty.
I didn't know you can be a dynasty without winning back to back titles even once.
Heck I wouldn't even call the Warriors a dynasty since they didn't three-peat.
The last dynasty was the Shaq led Lakers end of.
That's why Lebron can't be GOAT because he can't be king without his dynasty.
By that Spurs logic the Raptors were a mini-dynasty.

Dynasty is being thrown around here so lightly.

That ring in 2014 was so far apart you shouldn't have included it in the argument for "dynasty".
Dynasty entails continuity.
4 rings in 9 years? Why stop at 9 years? Why not 10 and make it a whole decade?
Because it would look less impressive if it was 4/10 without b2b titles? It's such a wierd number to stop at.
The Lakers are at 50% without b2b that's why I made it an exemption.

exactly, they never won back to back. Also Duncan was washed up and outdated in the 2010s, manu was washed up by 2013. Kawhi elevated them to a finals team in 2013 after having a 4 year finals drought without him.
Dat 13PPG and 1 assist per game team elevation

I don’t think 3ball hates MJ. He either likes him well enough or is indifferent to him. Kobe’s his guy though. He’s just afraid to compare anyone besides MJ to LeBron :lol. Especially Kobe.
That somehow makes his sad little rants even more pathetic. How did you all find out?

LeBron surpassing Kobe literally drove him insane.
First ever to choke and blew hca in the finals against role player matthew dellavedova but too bad for op that his hero also did the same thing in the 2020 disney bubble against 7'1 brian windhorst when he crapped his pants by going 6/22, shy of two more shots of being 8/24 to honor the late black mamba 12thbe. :ohwell:
The difference between 4/10 and 5/10 is huge my man. Go ask Lebron.

Defining dynasty as continuity and then arguing that Spurs weren't dynasty.

Duncan entered the 2010's at 34 years old and as an 'outdated' player was all-defense 2nd team in 2013 and 2015, and all-nba first team in 2013, and 3rd team in 2015. He was 36 or older for those accolades by the way. Kawhit will be lucky to be in the NBA at 35, much less being an all-nba/all defense player past that point.

In fairness to him I've seen other people claim the Spurs weren't a dynasty either, though how winning 3 titles in 5 years and 4 in 9 doesn't make you a dynasty I for sure don't know. He might be the first person I've ever seen claim the Warriors weren't a dynasty though :lol

Yeah, Duncan, Manu and Parker are only the winningest trio in NBA history. This trio have it's own wikipedia page ffs.
Spurs have longest streak of playoff berths in NBA history. They won 5 titles in that span too.
But not enough continuity though, sorry guys.

The dynasties of Duncan's career was Jordan pippen bulls in the 90s and then Shaq Kobe in the 2000s. Duncan just won the title in between and never went to back to back finals until kawhi came around.

OP can't tell the difference between popular opinion and his own opinion. Every once in a while I try to explain something to an either stupid or insane (possibly both) troll. So let's waste a few minutes.
You want to know about how Steph Curry will be remembered? ABC gave him a prime time TV show. About miniature golf. He has Subway commercials with elite athletes of various sports. He has Carmax commercials, he is always brought up in any discussions of shooters as the greatest shooter of all time.
Kawhi Leonard is respected by basketball fans. Non-basketball fans don't know who he is. He does not have a TV show on ABC and you see like 5 seconds of him playing basketball in a New Balance ad starring Will Smith's son.
You think (or at least act like you think) Leonard is the greatest player of all time. No one else thinks this. He has certainly had a great career but he has never won MVP and has had multiple prime seasons ruined by injury (or at least injury recovery time). He will make the hall of fame and should. But to the rest of the world he is not the player you think he is. That's why he never got NBA MVP and "only" had three first team all NBA selections. That's why you make a thread like this and no one agrees with you. You are staring public opinion in the face and refuse to acknowledge it.
Normally his resume would generate nothing but respect but he has two big problems: the way he left the Spurs and your crazy ass making these stupid topics. So do Leonard a favor and shut up.

Curry never dominated the finals and showed he was the clear cut best player on a finals team, so that's what he will remembered as is my point.
Kawhi has had 5 all NBA selections and 7 all defensive selections, that's 12 total all NBA selections. Someone like Shaq only ended his career with 17 total all NBA selections. That's only 3 more seasons for kawhi being an all NBA and all defense and he surpasses Shaq.
As far as how he left spurs, Anthony Davis and James harden did the same exact thing.

He was 34 in 2010 dumb ass. You really expecting him to make more all-nba teams from his mid 30s than his prime/peak years ? He was all-nba first team in 2013 at 36. You expect Kawhit to be at that level at 36? Better question, is Kawhit going to be in the league at 36?

Regarding Giannis - I created an apology thread to Giannis for being dead wrong about him - I now have him at #6 all-time because he defied the super-team era by winning organically - players that climb the organic learning curve and therefore learned how to win are superior to guys that only learned to team-hop and never learned to win (organic)
Let me provide a specific example.... In 1990, Jordan sat idly by as Pippen melted down in Game 7... But by 1992, Jordan was confronting Pippen's bullies in Game 7 and didn't let Pippen fall completely off the map... Jordan learned to be Pippen's enforcer to win... This is a tiny example of the many nuances that must be mastered and understood to win organically.. Giannis figured this out - he learned to win with what he had, so he's superior to guys that never learned how to win, and only learned to team-
