I thought it was Bucks - Nets, but Heat look good.They have a chance of coming out from East

Butler
Herro
Lowry

Oladipo
Robinson

I like that front court defensively, Tucker Adebayo Butler.

Lowry/Tucker are great playoff additions.

They've been running over everyone defensively. Robinson and Lowry have shot horribly and they're still blowing teams out.

If Oladipo comes back fully healthy and with a chip on his shoulder, nobody is stopping them. Health is the only barrier.

They are pretty damn good I must admit. They remind me of bucks last year adding PJ Tucker and a veteran point guard (Lowry instead of jrue).

Only thing they are lacking is that 1 true elite top 5 player to win a title

Butler, Bam and Herro would be #1 options on any lottery team. Oladipo was that as well for Houston last year.

I'm normally one to agree with exactly what you said, but if you have four #2 options, you don't need a true #1 if you have elite defense.

They're insane defensively and have more depth this year so I'd call them a contender, especially if Oladipo comes back and manages to stay healthy for the POs.

The Heat are solid. Looking now at the east, it seems 7 teams are solid to land a PO spot.

Heat
Bucks
Nets
Bulls
Knicks
Hawks
Sixers

These teams will contend for the 8th spot

Wizards
Hornets
Celtics
Raptors?
Pacers?

People still think Oladipo is a star? Lol. It’s not 2018.

Heat are definitely contenders though.

Don’t see them making a top 5 finish offensively but they obv don’t need to. Even this shitty undead Oladipo that’s been limping around the league, still plays well above average defense.

Wait, the guy who believes DeRozan is a superstar and Rose is still MVP caliber literally right now, and hyped up bums like Jabari Parker (among other journeyman inefficient scrubs I lost track of) saves his criticism of those guys to unleash on Oladipo?

Gonna need to see Herro continue to perform like this before I make any assumptions, but so far they're looking like a real contender in the East

in the playoffs , they will miss a white PG that got them 15+ppg ...

they might get to the ECF's but not to the chip round.

Lowry has better D and intangibles though, even if he'll score less he can make as much if not more impact. That's why I really want to see a healthy Heat vs Nets this year.
