The only disappointment so far has been Beal. He is taking 25 shots per game with a TS of 45%. His chucking has been painful to watch at times.

Wiz have so much depth that they have been winning with key guys out. Rui and Bryant were both starters and neither has played yet. Beal was out one game and we won. Dinwiddie was out and we won. Gafford is our starting center and has missed the last two games, both wins. That depth is going to be a big benefit in the regular season. If they want to be successful in the playoffs the offensive execution needs to improve.

Also got to give some props to our new coach Wes Unseld Jr, our first coach in a long time that actually appears to be competent.

What's wrong with wanting long-term success and actually rooting for a franchise to develop their young stars instead of shipping them all away for a 2-3 year window? We could have signed AD without giving up anything the following year to go along with the young core that got traded away. Lebron might have one good year left in him and that's if he can even make through the entire season and have any athletic ability left come Playoff time. Did you not watch the Suns series last year?

Wizards aren't even at full strength yet with Rui and Thomas Bryant out. That team is really deep and could easily make the POs if Beal stays healthy. They were in it last year with a much worse roster.

I'd rather have a 10-year window than a 4-5 year one at best. If Lebron was 5 years younger I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Yeah when he was hurt for a third of the year and playing with dogshit. LeBron won a ring when he was healthy. And you wouldn’t have AD without him…AD enables you to compete after LeBron retires. Another lie... Lakers were an 8th seed after the Warriors game and Lakers had one all-star besides Kobe and one of the worst rosters in the league with all the injuries yet led them top a top 5 record post-ASB. :( Lebron's "Playoff mode" went a little differently..

Of course a player stan would know nothing about developing young players.. Lakers could have had the young core + a superstar FA (one in his prime) and contended for the next decade (see: 90s Lakers with NVE, Divac & Eddie Jones, followed by drafting Kobe and signing Shaq). This run will be over in 2 years and then we're left with a 31 y.o Davis and nothing else, at which point Davis forces his way out like every other star and we're back to the rebuilding stage. You're acting as if Lebron's the only FA who would ever join the Lakers.

Celtics have pieces but not the right pieces. Reminds me of Tmac and Vince Carter on the Raptors. They could never piece it together. Celtics IMO would be better off trading Tatum and keeping Brown. Tatum is of the Kyrie mold. Not a team player
