22 year old Kuzma's rookie season vs 26 year old Kuzma's Wizard season
Rookie szn as a starter/bench player = 16.1 ppg on 46%
26 year old as a starter = = 15.5 ppg on 42%
How did LeBron win a chip with this guys as his 3rd option?

He also has a 49.9 TS%, a -1.5 BPM and the team is -9.1 points per 100 possessions worse with him on the court. Idk why some of you guys insist on pretending Kuzma is anything but bad.

Scoring efficiency is down league wide. +/- is basically useless with such a small sample size.

49.9% TS is bad in any era post 3point line introduction.

Kuzma is averaging 16/12 and that's with a poor shooting stretch to start the season and don't discount his defensive ability either. Wizards were 19th on defense last season and they're currently 9th. The Lakers were #1 last year w/ Bron and AD injured and are now 25th. The "Kuzma is bad" narrative is going to end real soon lol.

Beals TS is 45%. Luka's is 50%. Lillard's is 49%.
Nobody in the league is averaging over 29 ppg. When was the last time that happened?
Part of kuzmas problem is that he suddenly can't make foul shots. I doubt he continues to shoot 48% from the foul line.

Those guys don’t have a history of scoring inefficiently. It’s ok to admit Kuzma sucks.

So stats only matter when you want them to matter.

Let’s ignore his history of bad stats because…uh….he is putting up bad stats again in 5 games so far!
That’s you lmao

Last year he averaged 16/8 per 36 with a TS of 55%. I don't see that as bad.
I will gladly take a 49% TS if he keeps rebounding and defending like he has so far.

That’s inefficient given the league average last year and his defense was horrible when I watched him. If it’s improved good for him. He’s just a bad player IMO. I do love KCP though, one of my favorite players. I’m sure you’ll appreciate his defense and shooting. Harrell is a really good scorer (statistically elite even) and should help there although a lot of people shit on his defense. He’s also so undersized for the way he plays.

To be replaced by a “no one cares about Kuzma” narrative.

Better than Anthony Gill and/or playing 3 guards like last year. I'm happy. He's just playing forcefully and being a threat on offense. You can afford to jack up some shots as a team when you play good defense and have an advantage on the boards.
So stats only matter when you want them to matter.
