With 71% in. The Republican is up 10 points. **no jinx please**

I can't believe Biden and Obama supported the guy who wants to go 1984 on us and wants the government to have full control of how kids are manipulated with no input from parents on how or what they are taught. :facepalm

Biden won this state by double digits. Not looking good for dems in the midterms

Hey Republicans, mail-in-ballots are going to drop in NJ very late tonight. Don't lose your mind in the morning when a big Democrat jump happens when you wake up in the morning. I know you guys have PTSD from exactly a year ago so I thought I might warn you up-front

Who cares. Policy is decided by money, not party ideology.

Elections are just theater at this point. It’s obvious people in charge dont give a shit what the public wants. They do what banks and business moguls tell them to do, period.

Party affiliation is just for show.

Whether he wins or not, the fact that this race is close is hilarious. He was down as much as 14 points in some polls coming into tonight. This race was supposed to be a cake walk for the Dems

Yup, surprising it was so close. New Jersey is usually heavy democrat. Biden won huge last November. I think it's clear people don't like Biden and aren't fans of the democrats congress in-fighting with Manchin. If they don't get that figured out soon, they will lose congress in 2022.

Biden has no chance in 2024 unless if Trump runs again. Only reason Biden won is because even more people despised Trump in 2020 than Biden. And Biden was already unpopular. As I have been saying for many months, Biden did not win that election. Trump lost the election. Democrats better find someone young and likable to run for president between now and end of next year - the campaigning begins in early 2023.

Yup. Its actually huge because the main reason the Italian guy is winning at the voting booths is because people don't want to see us become NYC. Nobody wants mandates here which is why what should've been a easy dem win will be a slim one after they count the mail in votes (rig). Doesnt matter, the people have spoken. Murphy was a horrible governor. Hes a wall street crook like corzine and nobody respects him.

Or, you could say that Liberals have veered so far to the Left and their radical agendas are scaring off the Moderates and Independents. That seems more like the truth of the matter. The problem I see, is that the Dems' approach is to keep going further Left with new radical agendas. They can't help themselves at this point it seems. They have lost their way and have no clue as to how to go back towards the Middle. When Liberals are calling for the heads of Manchin and Sinema, you know they no longer care about appearances. That's the problem the Democrats have.

And I find it hard to believe that Trump lost that election considering he got more votes than in 2016. More people wanted Trump to remain in office than before. So that statement is incorrect. The fact that Joe Biden supposedly got 81 million votes proves that their was a systematic effort by the Democrats to give everyone a ballot. And to get everyone who wasn't registered to vote, registered. It's not stealing the election, but it's definitely influencing the election. No sane person who follows politics can claim they were ignorant to who Joe Biden was prior to last year's election. Everyone who knows about politics and keeps their ear to the ground with current events saw this debacle of a Presidency coming a mile away. Let's not kid ourselves. The question now becomes, how much damage will Joe Biden and company do to this country before it's time to elect someone to fix it, and will it be too late at that point.

If you understood politics, you would realize that Biden has been going very moderate. Perhaps too moderate and pushing away the progressives. Biden's campaign platform was much more progressive than he has been as a president. He has often been keeping Trump policy in place at times to please moderates. Manchin is not a moderate but rather a conservative - he might be the last of conservative democrats.

Like I said, Biden was not liked before the election and is liked even less now. Trump was liked even less than Biden, which is the only reason why he lost.

You're a robot with no intelligence whatsoever. You just regurgitate the same talking points over and over again and with no substance. Biden a moderate? Where have you been recently?

And it's impossible that Trump was liked even less than Biden. If that was the case, then how do you explain Trump's rise in votes from one election to the next? You can't. And I'll repeat it again and again until a dunce like you understands it. The only reason a horrible politician like Joe Biden got 81 million votes is because Democrats made sure everyone that could vote, voted. There is no way that 81 million people were so energized by Biden that they consciously decided to go to the polls and vote for him. Trump is the most popular President ever. You can't sit there from the confines of your roach-infested basement and tell me that Joe Biden rallied so many people to his cause that he got more votes than Barack Obama. That's some clown shit.

That McAuliffe Nazi stating that parents had no business interjecting in their children's education was the final straw. Political suicide.

GOP with some solid wins last night. :applause: Harbinger of the bloodbath coming in 2022.

It would have been hilarious id they also won New Jersey, but eh. NJ is the armpit of America; fitting that it stays blue (no offense to the good conservatives that live there).

Even Bill Maher has said Biden has let the crazy "progressives" take control of him and his policies.

I'm sure Biden has done some other good things that most of America can agree with that you'll point out, but off the top of my head the only thing he's done good is pull out of Afghanistan, a exit strategy timeline planned by the previous administration, and even that he made an unnecessary mess of

Bill Clinton went way stupid liberal the first year in his presidency and it was a bloodbath in the midterms. But I'll give him credit, he learned from his mistake quickly. After that he just gave up on his liberal base's ideals and just led America by polling the public to see what was popular. If that meant joining Republicans so be it. He didn't care as long as it kept him popular. I don't think Biden has the balls to stand up to his base but we will see. Even Obama had the balls to tell the crazies in his party to simmer down once in a while

Yes, Biden is not a progressive. Conservatives under Trump have gone so far to the conservative end that a Biden looks like a progressive to them. If he is a progressive then what the heck are the actual progressives? Communists, perhaps domestic terrorists?

In 2016, nobody from Republican side expected Trump to win so many people simply didn't vote. It was very similar on democrat side too - people didn't like Hillary but felt she had it in the bag so again they either didn't vote or went with a 3rd party like Jill Stein to protest Hillary. Those people came to vote in 2020 in boatloads. We had a historic turnout on both Democrat and Republican side and independents as well in 2020. It was the largest turnout in recent history. Much greater turnout than 2016 - go look it up. Yes, mail-in-ballots made it much easier for people to vote too - that was part of it. It's a very easy explanation that is nothing but looking at a simple number.

Biden got 81mill because of Trump. Do you not understand that MANY VOTERS were energized against Trump? As far as the bulk of independents were concerned and some progressives too, a vote for Biden was not a vote for Biden but rather a vote against Trump.

You have completely lost your mind. Don't discuss politics because you are just a meme.

Biden's platform was fairly progressive. So far, his overall policies with a few exceptions have been anything but progressive. Significantly liberal maybe and quite a bit moderate. Again, certainly not very progressive.

Where is public option? Even public option is not progressive but rather liberal. It's a start though.
How about legalizing pot? It was being discussed during the campaign but it's pretty much gone since he took office.
Fillibuster is still there, DC/Puerto Rico are not states, Supreme Court seats haven't been added. All progressive ideas to change.
Climate change may be getting somewhat addressed but not to the level progressives want. Infrastructure bill funds climate change at $550 billion over 10yrs. That sum is not progressive but more so liberal.
There were talks to restructure criminal justice system, but that seems to be gone too.
