They were exactly, what Philly was supposed to be. The project never came to fruition. Not even a single Conference final.
Despite not being the defender CP3 was or is. You got to respect the passion and the heart he possessed.

Zeke all day.

Isiah is better than Chris Paul, but he still wouldn't be enough. Those Pistons won on great defense and intimidation. Neither of which lob city had. Lob city is the opposite of a tenacious playoff team like Duncan's Spurs. They were a fun to watch, flashy regular season team.

They’d never win a single series lol.

Zeke at his peak won 2 rings and a FMVP. CP0 has a ROTY award :oldlol:

Stop fooling yourself into thinking that you know something about basketball.

Zeke's was a floor general just like CP3. He was not the choker CP3 is though.

Considering Isiah had a bunch of bad series' for his standards while his defense bailed him out, I doubt he takes Lob City far, I can make an argument they might even be worse.

Chris Paul got hurt in a couple of those series. As cliche as it is, the best ability is availability. Not sure about a ring, but prob a conference finals or so.

Your posts are amusing, but you never say anything smart.

Maybe he takes them further, who knows, but I would not pick them to win a ring in any season. Replacing CP3 with Isiah does not suddenly make them better than the Spurs, Thunder or Warriors.

Chris Paul and Blake Griffin were injured all the damn time when the playoffs came around.

Call me when CP3 averages 13.9 apg in a season. Until then, shut the fk up.

Isiah is better than Chris Paul

At what?

They might not win a ring but they will definitely make the WCF's a few times. No way are the Clippers losing all those years to Memphis in 2013, Houston in 2015, Portland in 2016 and Utah in 2017 with Isiah. And honestly even OKC in 2014 was a very winnable series if Paul didn't choke.

Isiah would win those series with his bricks!

At what?

Leadership, getting his teammates together, performing at clutch moments, etc. People call them "intangibles".

IT wouldn't have DPOY and first team all defense teammates to guard the other teams' stars so he wouldn't go anywhere.

Chris Paul is objectively better at basketball to me, but he's just way more of a *****. Zeke played through injuries heroically in the pursuit of victory and wasn't a choker. Its so hard to do rankings trying to factor in how skilled a guy was vs how mentally fragile.

How mentally fragile does someone have to be for leaving in the middle of a playoff game vs the '91 Bulls because you were too embarrassed to take your beating like a man.

That actually makes the point more. IT wasn't in a banana boat crew all buddy buddy with his opposition. He wasn't doing commercials for state farm. He was a stone cold killer. Didn't have Paul's skills or efficiency (which were GOAT for a point guard) but he was a much stronger competitor. Would definitely whoop his flopping, soft ass in a fight.

Right, instead he was kissing Magic on the cheek before games. :oldlol:

And even when he walked off the court vs the Bulls he had his head down looking ashamed. :oldlol:

Kiss of death indeed.

game 1 vs Magic in '88: 6 of 16 shooting
game 2: 5 of 14 shooting
game 3: 10 of 21
game 4: 2 of 7
game 5: 4 of 13 shooting

And after game 5, Detroit still had a 3-2 lead. CARRIED.
