View Full Version : Today's players would be lost in prior eras without teammates to space the floor

Today's players only look decent because teammates space the floor with 40 threes per game, which creates this spaced-out beginner format that yields easy plays/layups on every possession.. They wouldn't be good without that spacing if the paint was completely packed like previous eras - this would force them to pull-up for contested mid-range like all good players back then, except most of today's players are horrible mid-range players and pure scorers... They only know how to gather-step in today's spaced-out format.. Ultimately, today's players are inferior pure scorers and much weaker contested shot-makers on 2-pointers (aka basketball).. Btw, Cade is a great example of how today's spaced-out format yields weak TRASH skillsets
