It is downright sad that Westbrook who is getting paid over 40 million dollars for this season is playing below a replacement-level player right now and is actively creating losing margins.

with Lebron out, there's just a big drop off in ball handlers particularly when it comes to trading possessions. After Westbrook, the next guy is Rondo, and with Ariza out, you're still gonna have to play Westbrook because the shooters aren't elite rebounders.

the reality is that it seems the team is happy with the role Carmelo has found himself, but I certainly wouldn't mind for him to call the plays more when he's at his natural 3 position, or when they run the ball with him and Rondo.
