Lots of great dunkers come and go but im talking about the fast break anticipation, top vote getter in allstars and the smooth game to go with it

Blake griffin was the closest in terms of dunk anticipation but he is more of a Shawn Kemp

Indiana Paul George was on track but the leg fckd it up

Who could be? Jalen Green when he develops?

Paul George? Don't recall him ever being viewed in that light as a dunker.

It will be a player with super human vertical 50"

Could be a decade or more.

Obviously that person would have bball skills , besides jumping.

Yeah green could

Can you tell my why you could see that? Aside from the obvious ridiculous jumping ability

Before 2014 , he was doing 360s, pump reverses and windmills on the regular

Yeah but he wasn't creating the buzz you're referring to if the comparison is Vince Carter. I was in university in Canada when he hit the league, remember MJ had just retired again. The hype for him and the shit he was doing at the time was insane.

We'll never see another Vince... Like a few people said Carter's dunks were so ferocious, so fluid and so acrobatic that I don't think anyone does that again. The hype was unreal. The era also had to align with his profile to produce that kind of icon. Right now some guys can replicate his dunks but it's not original any more. And then Carter was a really underrated basketball player. Really had no weaknesses on offense and was a decent defender too.

Well, jalen green looks like the type of dude that would try to brake the internet with highlights every time he can. I just don't know how good the rest of his game its gonna be. Some people say Miles Bridges but i don't see any resemblance

Vince carter's grace is tough to find. There are guys that get up higher but they don't float like him while providing a punch of power.

can't talk about street ball being tough, being in the hood with gangs and drugs and all, and not make the anticipation of another flashy player not sound homo with all that slurping.

Not that many guards play like Vince these days. He did a lot off the ball to get himself looks inside the arc with the defense scrambling, not so much PnR or shooting off-the-dribble behind the arc like guys do today.

He’s pretty much at the top tier for how high guys consistently get up in game. You have to remember superstars will have much more fatigued legs than most guys during games.

Blake Griffin had a similar hype in his 2010-11 season. Played the All-Star game, won the dunk contest and was in the highlights every other night. His careers are quite comparable, actually.

Thats what i meant. H7e had the same type of hype. But he is a powe foward who depended of screen and rolls and alley oops

For some reason, zach lavine who has come the closest, doesn't get the the hype in game dunks
