Tesla is 39k. And you were told to wait for inflation to get back under control and for OPEC to bring down the cost of oil by opening the tap.

If you can't wait then look at your gas-guzzling car. Tesla is one of the options if gas cost is such a huge concern that you are not willing to wait on.

Not my problem that you are allergic to logic and filled with so much hate.

Then keep paying high gas prices in the short-term. That's fine too. Choose what you want.

The problem I have with you is that you never blame big government or the oligarchs for the rise in oil or for higher taxes or for government intrusions, mandates, etc. Shit that basically pulls us backwards and not forward. You're always reactive to what transpires, and never proactive. And there's millions upon millions of you in this country. You look at the wrongs of society and you just shrug your shoulders. You hit a pothole on a street, and instead of notifying someone about the pothole as a taxpayer, you just decide to drive down a different road instead.

How am I fascist if I'm anti-big government? Government has too much power. You're quite confused.

How am I fascist if I'm anti-big government? Government has too much power. You're quite confused.Corporations have too much power. Here's the problem, there will always be a power struggle between govt and corporations. One has to be bigger than the other and will control the other. Neither being powerful and having control is good, big govt usually leads to corruption which leads to fascism and corporations being in power create the evil lobbyists we see now and the ever-increasing wealth gap. That's why the answer to everything is small businesses. We can have small local govt to regulate them, and giving them our business instead of corporations. Too bad people rather save $1.99 to buy product x on Amazon in addition to the convenience of delivery. A mom and pop just can't compete with that. And I'm not saying I'm above shopping at Costco and Amazon. I probably go 60/40 spending my money at mom and pops vs large Corporations. I honestly don't know of many mom and pop grocery stores left around where I live, though. It's pretty sad.

But yeah, supportign small businesses needs to be a collective effort. There are better positive externalities to this as well, since small business owners live in their very communities; whereas Musk probably owns a Supervillain hideout under some volcano.

This time, there are other reasons involved. Oil tax is not the reason and neither is big federal government size. It's inflation and artificial oil pricing (OPEC that we don't control) due to COVID shutdown for a year.

I'm as skeptical of corporations and corruption in the government as the next guy, but they are not the reason for this one. There are bigger fishes to fry.

I believe he needs a big group hug. I don't think he has been hugged in couple decades. Just one hug should mellow him down a bit

What say you, Patrick?

You are both right, and also wrong... Corporations (big ones) are the government
