Without kawhi on his team, Paul George has not been out of the 1st round since 2014 (8 years ago).

While kawhi has been busy winning finals mvps and stopping 3peats. They will need kawhi for playoff time baba and kawhi will win his 3rd finals mvp and then he can claim he carried a 1st round choker of 5 years like George. All while kawhi gets to load manage, it's perfect.

Then next season will be 70 game kawhi and 4th finals mvp and back 2 back titles, probably a reg season mvp on top of that.

Nice player but teams always perform better without him

Yeah, they need him if they want to come under expectations and lose in the 2nd round.

This dude Kawhi has legit NEVER played on a team that wouldn’t easily make the playoffs without him :oldlol:

Nope. 2019 Clips without a single all-star/all NBA guy took a healthy Warriors squad to 6( before KD went down). 2020? Kawhit 6/22 against a 7'1 Windhorst, loses in 2nd round. 2021? Kawhit goes does in the 2nd round. Cooked right? Nope, Playoff P takes them to their first ever conference finals. 2022, no Kawhit so far? Team is 7-4 and PG13 dropping 27/8/5 with 3 steals no sweat.

Are we looking at another 50-win team without Kawhi once again for that fraud? Imagine if he was ever in a bad team and had to do any semblance of carrying like every other superstar has had to do in this league.

Yep. He's a 'cherry on the top' superstar. No leadership, a mercenary type you throw on an already made playoff team and if circumstances favor him( like his 2019 finals opponent being at less than 100%) you may get a chip out of him. Lacks the intangibles to 'lead' a team from the ground up.

He legit has to be the only superstar in NBA history who has never played with a bad supporting cast :oldlol:

I seriously can’t think of a single other superstar. Luckiest player ever :oldlol:

He's basically been a less extreme Durant on the Warriors situation his entire career.

Durant's been on a great team his entire career too.

Nope, even he was on bad teams his first two years. And while he made the playoffs his third year there’s no way they make it without him in 2009-2010 (that was before WB and Harden became star level players). Kawhi truly stands alone :lol

Reggie Jackson if everyone remembers was a sore ass excuse as a PG for Detroit. (marginal minutes)
But if you remember prior to that he was a SG that was a one year conversion as a PG backing up Westbrook.
Now he is back doing his SG tasks as an off ball , slasher and pull up jumper.....
Amazing a new team and an old method can get the most out of a player.
Good for him and the Clips.

A defined role and less pressure almost always helps

Kawhi has never even played with a top 5 player that was in his prime. George is top 10/12 range, alrdige is top 25 and nobody in raptors was close to top 10.

By that criteria, Tim Duncan won 4 chips without a top 10 player. Hell, he didn't even have a top 30 in 2003.

We have a dilema here in Clipper land. We do need Leonard in the playoffs to be able to contend for a chip

But PG plays his best without him and its winning basketball

But at the same time, leonard rises on the playoffs and pg is unpredictable in the playoffs

Clippers have arguably been better with just Paul George

But its not enough. Every team in the final 4 usually has a dynamic duo or a big 3
