View Full Version : Spurs have a 117-120 record since trading Kawin Leonard

117- 120 hahahaha I thought pop was a genius? Not so smart without kawin.
3 games under .500 hahahaha so their basically averaging 38 wins a season since kawhi left, they won't even get that far this season either. Kawhi was averaging 64 wins a game in his last 2 seasons there. Raptors suck now for the 2nd straight year as well.
Meanwhile, kawhi's good buddy Paul george is holding down that 6th or 5th seed until the 🐐 returns in March.
Wow kawhi made a great decision leaving the Texas rathole. Anywhere kawhi goes, winning follows. Anywhere kawhi leaves, losing follows.

What's their record after LMA left? If it's worse, than proves LMA > Kawhi in terms of value to the Spurs using your logic.

Kawhi's never been on a team incapable of winning 50 games without him.

Lets assume spurs win about 33 games this season. So that will put them at about 34 wins a season since trading kawhi. They were averaging 64 wins in his last 2 seasons there.
30 win drop off ain't bad

Kawhi hasn’t played a full season there in 5 years, that’d be like bringing up the ‘03 Bulls in reference to Jordan. It’s irrelevant to my point

They were 48-34 in the 2019 season immediately after he left.
Kawhi has NEVER played on a team that wouldn’t easily make the playoffs without him. Not once.

And assuming health, that will be the case again this year. Hell, the Clips are currently 3rd in defensive rating WITHOUT Kawhit.

117-120 since trade and trending into an even deeper hole this season. That's 37 wins a year, 67 wins in kawhi's 2016 season.

It’s truly remarkable. We’ll never know if he’s actually that impactful I suppose.

He doesn't have to carry horrible defenders such as morris, shamet, Lou Williams like kawhi did and kawhi still had them at top 5 defense every season.
Anyways, they were at a 123 offensive with kawhi on the court last season. What's their offensive rating this season?

I mean hell, the best Clippers team Kawhit has played on was the 2020 team, and he got embarrassed in game 7 to the tune of 6/22 against a 7'1 Brian Windhorst. Next year gets injured( SHOCKING) and the team advances to its first conference finals in spite of his absence when they had every excuse to 'Kaw'hit against Utah. Pretty damning stuff....

They made the playoffs the year after Kawhi left and got just as far as he did. They even won 50+ games in a shortened season. Yikes.

Not to forget, they won 59 games in 2018 before Kawhit, and 58 the year he got there. Should have given the Finals MVP award to KD, he got Kawhit a chip by getting injured. :lol

Kawhi was up 3-1 and realized he didn't want to keep living in the bubble.
2021 kawhi led the entire playoffs in offensive win shares.
How many times has Paul George been out of the 1st round without kawhi since 2015?

So 2 seasons and all you have to brag about is eliminating Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot and then the next season winning 27 games?

So if that's the case he could have sat out the rest of the way. It would be perfectly on brand.
How many times has Kawhit made the conference finals the last 3 years vs PG13? We've gone through a pandemic, nobody gives a shit what happened in 2015 :lol. What happened last year? Spurs won 70% of their games (14 year stretch) BEFORE Kawhi got there. You should be thanking your lucky stars that Kawhi ended up on the Spurs or his shot wouldn't have been re-made by Chip Engelland, he wouldn't have had the mentorship of Pop, Duncan, Parker and Manu and he wouldn't have had time to grow/develop without pressure.
The spurs won 48 games in 2019. Op still a dimwit jizzrag as usual.

Real talk from a real Spurs fan. Kawhit was the one who lucked into that situation, not the Spurs lucking into him.

In the 2000's you may have a point. Late 2000s and early 2010's spurs were a JOKE until kawhi got there.
2008 - embarrassed by kobe in the west finals and losing 1-4 without showing any sign of life at all
2009 - lost 1-4 in the 1st round
2010 - Swept in the 2nd round
2011 - lost in the 1st round to an 8th seed
That's 4 years of getting embarrassed, then in 2012 you got your ass kicked in the conference finals again. Were not serious contenders until kawhi emerged into the best player in 2013.

:oldlol: And yet they still hold the highest all-time win percentage record and have the 5th most chips in the league while being a younger franchise than majority of the league, but that's still not good enough for the guy that stole 3Ball's schtick, or are you the same dude?
Speaking of which where did that idiot Giannis nutrider go? Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if all 3 posters were the same. Very similar levels of infatuation from all 3 of you. Just a different target....

Duncan's prime was done at 30 years old, his last prime year was 2007. Most 7 footers slow down at 30. He missed more all nba selections then he made in the 2010s.
Manu turned into a role player after 2011
Tony parker was never all that
