Good to see; things were getting out-of-hand over the last few seasons.

It's at a healthy, respectable mark. We've given a little back to the defensive side of the game.

Agreed. The league wide TS% being 57.2% last year was absolutely absurd.

Does anyone know what Lebron’s TS% was this year before he got injured?

I’m asking for a friend.

About to be an amazing season.

The biggest change that has influenced the decrease in TS% seems to be:

- 3pt shooting %
- Less throws

3pt shooting % is at its lowest mark since the lockout-shortened 1998-1999 season

Free throw rate (FT/FGA) is at its lowest mark since the 1946-1947 season

League-wide offensive rating (ORtg) is 107.6, which is the lowest mark since the 2015-2016 season.

And I'm sure part of that is the increase in 3 point shots as well

Yup; 3pt attempts have gone up to set a new record: 35.6 3PA.

Last season only 1 team took less that 19 foul shots per game. So far this season there are 11.

You want fouls, go inside. The way it should be.

I'm not getting my hopes up as it's barely been over 10 games played per team but it looks promising.
