I figured they'd be a playoff team this year, but they're off to a way better start than I would have predicted. The question is how fan they go? Can they make it to the finals? And realistically, do they have a shot at the title?

7 seed. Lose in 5 to whoever.
That’s the peak
Now that Kuzma is free from LeDiapers, I predict an MVP & FMVP season for him.:applause:

A big part of their success is depth which helps a lot in the regular season but doesn't have the same impact in the playoffs. Their offensive execution has been bad at times and needs to improve to get past the 2nd round.

2nd round but it really depends on the seeding and who's healthy for the POs. They could have a fluke ECF run like the Hawks with the right 2nd round opponent.

Ecf has not normalized yet. They will probably end up at 7-8 at best. Hawks and bucks will still get back.

They definitely lose to Milwaukee but no one else in the East looks like a sure thing. A lot of teams that were good have underperformed and a few teams that were bad have risen up. I don't think they'll do much but second round wouldn't be shocking.

Just tells you how much worse the East has gotten since Lebron, PG, Howard, Melo etc all left.
The conference used to be murderers row, these days it’s a cake walk.

Actually this is the strongest the east has been in years. There currently 9 teams in the east at .500 or better. The west only has 7.
"murderers row" ?

Beal was out tonight, Ingram was going off and the wizards were down 19 early in the third. They were playing like crap in the first half.
In the second half they completely turned it around and won by 5.
Their roster is legit weak…Beal is a star, Dinwiddie is a good PG. Harrell is a great scorer off the bench but has limitations. KCP is a pretty ideal 3+D guy. Other than that don’t like their roster that much. I’ve heard Gafford has potential but he doesn’t play that much. Rate stats are good tho iirc. Credit to the coach he has them playing great defense, but this is not a team anyone is scared of in the playoffs. Last years Knicks 2.0?
10-3 since kcp, kuzma and harrell got there lmfao.

Beal has played like trash and they're still 10 - 3 and 3 - 0 without him. Mad?

Yeah people don't realize how deep the Wizards are. Two starters from last year haven't even played yet.
Why would I be “mad” about first round cannon fodder? You guys are retarded if you think a team led by Beal and Dinwiddie is competing for anything.

They're clearly an overachieving regular season team not destined for a long playoff run.
If they keep this up that is.
Every team has a hot streak throughout the regular season, where they win 8 out of 10, 9 out of 10 of their games at some point of the season. It could be that their hot streak is at the beginning.

Yup, and Beal can play an a superstar level and they haven't even needed that right now. Once he gets healthy and you get T.Bryant back it's a really good team that could make the ECF with the right match-ups. Dinwiddie is a star and Beal's one of the best scorers in the league and you have a good enough defense. Nothing about this looks like a fluke start when you factor in Beal's injury, the sub-par 3PT shooting from a team that has a bunch of shooters and T.Bryant's injury as well. TB was one of the more efficient Centers in the league and could stretch the floor as well, that would be huge for this team if he can return to form for the POs.

Like the warriors lol. Got that hot start running the moment iggy came back to the team but recently lost to a laughingstock hornets team.

On the other hand they also have guys who are playing way over their heads than you can expect to come back to earth.
I do like their depth but don’t trust Beal as a superstar in the playoffs. He’s a big number scorer but I just don’t think he affects the game as much as his numbers would suggest.

They have a lot of assets to have a nice record. In the playoffs they all most have zero experience.
