I am not saying one is better than the other. I just believe they have similar game. Herro is a fkin stud! I understand why the Heat did not want to include him in any deals (Harden included).

Tyler Herro has a higher ceiling. If only he could learn to play defense.

I understand how easy it was for Jimmy to mentor him. He looks like "he wants it". I remember him dropping 42 back in high school in hostile environment. Black crowd calling him names "overrated" and shut their mouth up. I think Zion said it on draft day: "don't sleep on Tyler Herro". He was right.

Tyler's potential as an all-star was clear as day after the bubble. Miami will be very dangerous if he keeps this up.

why not throw in Lavine in the conversation as well, especially when you discount his vertical leap

The difference is Tyler does not demand double teams like Book. Tyler is a great scorer but he is not dominant enough to command double teams. Maybe he will evolve into that player but right now he is a young Lou Williams.

It would be in the best interest of the league to step in and send him to LAL so he can learn and grow under Lebron’s wing.

Get it done, Silver.

Yes, they're literally the same player.

Herro said in an interview all he watches is Booker. I think they're on the same path when you consider Herro lost a summer of development. Comparing Booker's 2nd & 3rd seasons to Herro currently, you see he's basically right in the middle of those years statistically.

His defense has improved this season. He pretty much improved all around. Like he isn't an elite defender and he ain't no Caruso, but he is serviceable.

Booker - last years chip series , Bucks exposed him , and he hasn't been on that 2020/21 tear he was on.
