View Full Version : BREAKING: I’ve moved Lebron into the MVP lead due to LAL’s impotence without him

Seeing the Lakers drop yet another game without Le1ManTeam, it suddenly dawned on me: Theres nothing in the guidelines of the MVP award that says a guy has to play a certain amount of games.

You can still CLEARLY be more valuable than anyone even if you miss games. In fact the Lakers shameless failures prove NOBODY’S value remotely approaches that of LeHercules.

Kawhi’s team wins without him. The Nuggets won the game Joker was suspended. Steph couldnt win a play-in game last year, so I dont care what hes doing.

Lebron James is the MVP right now. The combination of his performance on the court and his teams unmitigated failure with him off it is all the proof necessary.

Discuss.

Lakers missed the Playoffs with Lebron. Only made with AD on team.

Guys was that the season he was in 4th place with a cast full of nobodies before missing six weeks with a catastrophic groin explosion?

Just tell me yes or no. Im trying to remember the season youre referring to.

No that was the season he missed the playoffs and got his dunk blocked by Jarrett Allen.

If I have to step in front of Lebron and take your vicious verbal abuse in order to distract you and allow Lebron to escape, then so be it. I will fall on that sword for him.

He is my King and I will protect him at all costs. Even if I must make the ultimate sacrifice.

Wouldn’t being the worst GM in the league cancel that out?

So Lebron can be MVP playing 20 games. Is that what you are implying?

Interesting...

No AD, no Playoffs. Can we just trade Lebron and get him some actual help? Maybe back to the Cavs for Allen & K.Love?

Then MJ was the mvp in 1995 since the team was struggling to stay above 500. Jordan arrives and they finish 13 - 4. Who knew?

A team that pippen brought to playoff contention without him the preceding year. Nice.

The Bulls were on a 3 game win streak and had won 6 of their previous 7 games. Scumbag Jordan returns from his gambling sabbatical and the Bulls suddenly lose, then go 1-2 in their first 3 games after his return.

Let me finish the story for you...."And got bounced in the second round by a team they beat every year with Jordan."

Every...single....year.

Stop acting like '93-'94 was some historic year for the Bulls. If they couldn't beat the Knicks no way in h--- Pippen, Grant, Armstrong, and Kukoc are beating those 80's Celtics with Bird, McHale, and Parish, that's how good that team was. Shoot, it's highly questionable whether the fully loaded 1st Three-Peat Bulls with Jordan beat them either. And if Jordan, Pippen, Grant, Cartwright, and Armstrong can't beat the Celtics why would you expect a team with Quintin Daley, Orlando Woolridge, Dave Corzine, Enis Whatley, Steve Johnson, Brad Sellers and the like beat them?

Except i ain't. It's a big question directed to those who think that jordan "did it all alone" during the 90s dynasty when he actually had good, useful pieces in his team. In fact, they were so good they made it in the playoffs without his help at all. Just saying, cupcake. :confusedshrug:

Lebron is always the MVP, his impact turns non-playoff teams into Finals locks yearly provided he has a healthy squad. Voters have already said the reason he doesn’t have 10+ is they get tired of giving it to the same guy

They missed the playoffs with him and then got bounced in round 1 with him as the favorite.

Was #1 in Preseason odds and lost to a 14th seed in odds

In 2022 they were #2 in Preseason odds and currently 7th in the West https://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2022_preseason_odds.html while a team that was 21st in odds has a better record right now and destroyed them in a game.
