There is a legend of a great empire that rose up in the far reaches of the West that was feared and envied. It was led by an august general called Genghis Curry.
It is recorded to have engaged in many battles with neighboring fiefdoms that ended badly for those who opposed them. Among those permanently ground to dust by this mighty power were Lob City, tribes such as the Grit and Grind Grizzlies and OKC Thunder, and the Kingdom of Cavaliers. It took a grand alliance of elite forces from the remnants of the Spurs and Grit and Grind Grizzlies combined with Raptors to finally put a stop to the Golden Horde's rampage, although in truth attrition and infighting within the empire may have played a greater role.
Balance and parity returned to the land.
Or so it was thought.
A mere handful of years later the Golden Horde was once again sighted on the march sending tremors once again in the NBA League.
This is a chronicle of those events.
