View Full Version : Have you ever wondered why GSW never acquired Seth Curry?

"Honestly, I've thought about it. Earlier in my career, I had some opportunities to play on the Warriors and go there and obviously take a much lesser role," Seth said. "I always turned them down because I never really wanted to play on his (Steph's) team.

"I'd rather compete against him. I'm going to be compared to him and somewhat in his shadow whether I'm on his team or not, so it's going to multiply if I were on the same team, so I like to create my own path and do my own thing."

Did Steph ever push Seth to join the Warriors?

"He's kind of been the other way, too," Seth told Rivers. "He's kind of pushed me the other way -- in the other direction. He wants me to create my own path, do my thing.

"He knows what kind of pressure I get under when compared against him. He knows what it would be like."

There you go.

Seth curry might not have another iconic playoff moment anymore if he plays alongside bigger bro, who doesn't have one yet as we speak. :ohwell:

You can't play them at the same time because of defence, so that leaves little room for minutes.

Brother does not want to be in other brother's bigger shadow. Riveting.yeah just like how kyrie didn’t want to be in lebron’s shadow, but you retarded lesexuals despise him for it, albeit he literally saved your god’s career by outplaying curry that entire 2016 finals run, not to mention a brilliant playoff run in general

i digress i guess
