The top Four are the same. ESPN Has Wilt ahead of Magic, we have it the other way around for positions 5-6.
We rank Larry Bird 9th, ESPN Ranks 7th. Tim Duncan is 8th for both.
ESPN has Shaq 10, we have him at 7. We have Kobe at 11, ESPN has him 9th.

Biggest Differences
Kawhi is at 25 on ESPN, we have him 31.
Stockton is at 28 on ESPN, we have him 36.
Iverson is at 29 on ESPN, we have him 41.
Nash is 30 on ESPN, we have him 38.
Kevin McHale is 36 on ESPN, we have him 44.

John Havlicek is 33 on ESPN, we have him 27.
Bob Pettit is 38 on ESPN, we have him 29.
Chris Paul is 40 on ESPN, we have him 30.
Bob Cousy is 41 on ESPN, we have him 35.
Clyde Drexler is 57 on ESPN, we have him 42.
Rick Barry is 43 on ESPN, we have him 32.
Payton is 53 on ESPN, we have him 47.

We ranked Iverson much lower than on ESPN (12 positions), and we ranked Clyde Drexler much higher than on ESPN(15 positions).
Which List do you like more? They both have Bill Walton at 48th lol.

That ESPN list was terrible. They had Clyde Drexler like 10 spots below Reggie Miller. How? They played in the same era and Reggie was never better and now 30 years later they try to rewrite history.

I agree that Drexler is the better overall player, and it's actually not really close. Land of Basketball has him better at almost everything. What could be happening though is some recency bias about shooting. The few areas where Reggie has him are 3p%, FT%, and best playoffs scoring. And then there's that famous Knicks series.

Because Reggie is a media darling and Drexler is kind of forgotten about at this point. It's like people who rank Deon Sanders over Darrell Green all-time in football. Green didn't hog the spotlight. But he was the better DB and he was faster. But while Deon got to play for the 49ers and Cowboys in the 90s, Green was on the the Redskins.

Instead of having lists with absolute rankings, wouldn't it be better if we had tiers instead? That way players of comparable careers can be in the same tier and each person can have it ordered in however way they choose to.

1-5 MJ, KAJ, LBJ, Wilt, Bill
5-10 Magic, Bird, TD, Shaq, Hakeem
11-20 So on and so forth

Curry and KD both being within 11-20 is itself already indicative of their greatness. Which player you want to put over the other could then be subjective based on your preference.

Definitely not the same comparison.

Also, we have Willis Reed 39, ESPN has him 60. That went by me.

Anthony Davis, George Mikan(since we did shot clock era), Wes Unseld, Reggie Miller in ESPN TOP 50. Not in ours.

Willis Reed, Clyde Drexler, Gary Payton are in our top 50. Not in ESPN.

We got position 50 left still.
