:biggums:

People say he was playing bad in Detroit on purpose. He is just a terrible player and that's about it.

in an interview , he said when KD gets the ball , he knows he is targeting scoring first , passing second.

Blake played very well in Detroit, and was basically a PF point guard. (his team sucked)

Nets use him as a 5 , he is out of position , but their objective is to play small ball.
That is why D.Jordan left Nets to go to Lakers.
They should run a big , have Blake at his natural PF spot , and let KD play the 3.
IMO their small ball tactics are good for shit.

Blake would probably be a lot better on the Warriors( because the system around Steph optimizes everyone). Dude was like 25/8/5 in 2019 down to this season's output?

Blake's body is worn out at this point. He could be a 15 ppg player on a poor team but its hard to see him as efficient scorer.

He's washed. It's not the system. It's not that he doesn't feel the need to try. He just can't.

He's not making his open 3s. Has nothing to do with KD. If Blake could make the open 3 on a consistent basis, he'd still be a 10+ ppg scorer. He shot the 3 well for BKN last year, not sure what happened but 16% on over 3 attempts might be the worst in the league. He's been a 34% 3PT shooter over the last few years and shot 38% in both RS and POs for BKN last season.

Why is a center taking 3s?
I thought that mean the superstar of the team was making him a spot up shooter?

the 5 was played by Claxton until he got ill. Blake was putting up these dismals numbers then too.
