I think this is different, those teams had players on their prime years.

LeBron could get to the basket back then and those teams were way better.

Yep. Lakers are giving minutes to DeAndre Jordan in year 2021.

Cavs were the preseason favorite in 2015 but the Mosgov acquisition saved the season and instantly made them contenders.

Lebron perfected his fraud during those years - he learned to shed his on-paper/preseason favorite status by ceding favorite status to another team like the Spurs/Warriors as the season progresses.. By becoming the underdog despite having the on-paper favorite favorite, Lebron's fans can ignore the talent edge his team had and say he faced great odds...... and once in a while they can say he overcame those odds

this is easier than simply being the favorite and making good (winning the Finals)

This is a top-heavy roster and Bron has missed over half the season so far + key supporting cast members who would stretch the floor and help out defensively on the perimeter have been out as well. DeAndre Jordan isn't getting minutes in the POs but he's a body the Lakers can throw out there against the 2nd unit.

The 2014-15 Cleveland Cavaliers started with a 19-20 record in their first 39 games.

They finished the season with 53 wins.

We will see.

That was 7 years ago when LeBron had just turned 30 and was still considered the best player on the planet. Seems asinine to make that comparison now when he's about to be 37 and clearly no longer that caliber of player.

Lebron used to chase down everyone...

Nowadays he goes for the charge or only contests if he can say 100% he will block it

Lebron is getting healthier every game, never doubt Lebron James. We will see.
