For example, Jokic makes the correct pass at the right time but Monte Morris failed to turn his head and so the ball goes out of bounds. Traditional stats would grade this as a TO for Jokic (bad) and nothing for Monte (neutral). In reality, this should be graded as 'very good' for Jokic and 'very bad' for Monte.
Another example, it's a blowout and Jokic is playing around by dribbling the ball between his leg coast to coast and then got the ball stolen. Traditional stat would grade this as TO for Jokic (bad) and a steal for an opposing player (good). In reality, this should be a 'neutral' for Jokic and 'neutral' for the opposing player when considering the context of the game.
