All good things come to an end, for the first time in his career, LBJ is one of the problems for his team. "Lebron Ball" no longer works, becuause of LBJ'S inability to drive to the basket and either score, kick the ball out for an open 3 or get the opposing team to foul him. In his prime 2006-2018, LBJ would wear defenders down with his strength and speed when he attacked the basket and that would affect them on the offensive end (several retired players who played him has stated this). Now he brings the ball up court, he looks at the defender, realizes he can't take him to the basket, then either jacks up a 3 pointer or passes to another player behind the 3 point line, when he passes to the other player, he just stands their and watches them. This causes the Lakers defense offense to be the most predictable offense in the NBA, even teams with losing records have better offenses.
Lebron is somewhat like Jordan with the Wizards, they were great at playing a certain way for so long, that they can't play anyway else. Of course on paper it won't look bad, but if you look at the film and you know basketball you can see the problem. I think Jordan averaged 20PPG when he played for the Wizards, because although he still had a great mid-range game which allowed him to score, he held the ball alot, got blocked, and couldn't beat anybody off the dribble.
The Lakers will miss the playoffs this year and Lebron will get more technical fouls then he ever has in his career, due to frustration. Which is why he's always talking to the refs, which he NEVER did up until about 3-4 years ago.
Also because he holds the ball so much and can't make anything happen like he use to, NOBODY will want to play with him and it will cause friction in the Laker locker room. I saw him have little spats on the sideline with Westbrook and Anthony last year. Anthony asked him why didn't he pass him the ball at the end of the 3rd quarter and LBJ said "the ball slipped out of my hand" after turning it over. Anthony didn't pass him the ball again the rest of the game (nobody noticed but me)
