You don't really hear about it much in the media but they are going nuts in the Bay Area right now, giving new meaning to Black Friday specials. In the past mass lootings only happened after protests or in shitholes like Chicago or parts of New York. 50-100 looters have hit the Bay Area in California 3 days straight now. One of the wealthiest areas in the nation.

And the economy is supposedly doing great. What happens when we hit a recession? Are we destined to become like a 3rd world nation we watched on TV when we were kids? Will armies of private soldiers be hired to protect stores and neighborhoods giving big corporations even more power than they already have? Or am I just being paranoid?

Brick and mortar are destined to go out of business soon anyway. This just accelerates the process, which Im sure is one reason Big Politics has no problem with it.

Ofc I dont like seeing it happen to small private business, but if ordinary people wanna run up in Target, Wmart, Whole Foods right now and get what they can while they can... wouldnt even blame em.

I sincerely doubt the overwhelming majority of these mobs are blacks in the Bay Area like we see in areas east of the Mississippi.

I could be wrong but black flight out of California is a real thing. I doubt a mob the size of 50-100 in almost any part of California would be entirely black.

If it keeps up, the authorities and the stores will take preventative measures. They arrested a few of the people associated with the earlier robberies. I'm going to bet that it wouldn't take much to make those individuals give up the information on how these robberies are being organized. So next time, maybe the time after, police set up a sting, block off the escape routes, make multiple arrests. Problem solved.
